there is a flaw though as right now you can officially leave anytime and if your in a clan game for the other clan (especially partial games) you could potentially cost your clan valuable points.

i think if they can still leave anytime BUT you finish your clan game first then its more reassurance of less defaults

Just thinking, if it happened in a professional sports competition, the player concerned would be 1) breaking contract, 2) losing earnings, and 3) facing sanctions. Therefore it doesn't hurt (non-professional) players in the FCL or the other clan league nearly as bad, obviously

Suggestion: how about if a clan league were to deal with players who jeopardise league fixtures by prohibiting them from playing in that league for a period of time? I.e. a number of games, weeks, seasons, etc. In this way, they would only do it once. Or twice, or whatever maximum number of times the league legislators and/or runners see fit. (I dunno who makes the rules anyway, I'm assuming they all get discussed here first.)

If I'm reading this right, it did used to be a case that you only could play for one clan per season. However so many people moaned that they were out of an entire season if they left. So in the last few seasons the league runners changed it so you can play in 2 clans in one season but that is it.

Hopefully I have read this right =/

Transfer Window

Firstly due to the recent events on schedules and what not for both leagues we all know that FCL won't be up and running for at least a month+ which many are cool with.

Due to this i have decided that when our season is over i will note all clans position in the division they play in to keep me right and a few days after the season is over i will give more than likely a week for clans to sign up to the league. Once the week is over clans will send there full team list to myself or who ever i ask it to be sent to along with there template clan picture (If they want it shown on the website) and i will add all that to there team name on the website. The Team Changes thread will remain opened throughout so any player may change a clan freely until a week before the pre season starts (Transfer window if you want to call it that will be open roughly for three - four weeks depending on schedule).

Once pre season starts there WILL NOT be anymore clan transfers to any clan, the tranfers rule as it stands now will be changed again to where you can not change clan in the middle of season (what the rule once was).

The remaking of an old clan or making a new clan rule is also going to be under construction. You will more than likely need a season experience on current username to captain or be a vice captain (captain one may be increased to two seasons) also previous usernames will not be taken into account like this season.

Some people may read this and think that is a little harsh but people seem to think they can do what they please in this league and try and get away with it. If you join a clan then play with that clan. If you feel that rule should not apply to you and you were not respected right by a captain or not then you can bring it to a league runner or myself and we will look into it and MAY grant access to join another clan.

Also you may have seen that as of next season there will be more severe consequences for captains/players who do not post subs/swaps and results. This has been a major problem with this season and on an occassion nearly messed up a default as both clans failed to notify myself of a partially played game.

The above is really non negotiable and will be done, a few tweaks here and there, as we have all learned there is always haters .

The one month old account rule may be increased to two months also as especially this season there has been many people changing names and coming into the league, this may also stop people who try to multi account use in the league and this will apply to EVERYONE next season. There will be no exceptions to any of the both.

Just to clarify is it a 2 month old account prior to the post above or at date when it is verified...only asking as i am trying to get my original account re-activated as i have seen another member managed to do so but just incase i don't get that privilege ?

What i meant was everyone who is on an account the now that is quite young so to speak would be fine to play next season. As soon as pre season started it would take effect, so anyone with an account lower than two months would not be able to play in the pre season for their clan.

This one may not be implemented into the league but i am strongly thinking about it as it would cut out the whole multi using in the league to some degree i would think.

I agree stopping the multi using during a season as i found a few seasons back a player playing in both 1st and 2nd divisions and reported it to said staff and it was not acted on or even pursued in any form

But i know of worse since aka hooded snake clan...common knowledge to most.

Why would you do it like that? You are surely making unnecessary work for yourselves.
If everyone is free agents then why go through the hassles of logging all the comings and goings?

Did you report to funkypool staff or league staff? If league staff then concrete evidence is needed like a screenshot or something like that as it can be really hard to prove.

Not of recent times mate i am sure my hair was curly in those days if ya get my drift

Unnecessary work for myself? Well no not really mate as i only really log in to do league updates, release games and what not and on occasion play a clan game. I log in at least once a day to do updates and that won't change after season is done. Would make it easier for me personally and before pre season came out i would just message each captain to see that their roster is right.
