There wont be a fortnightly newsletter, however there is a news feed on the website which will be updated with any major changes and announcements, will post on threads when we have something to add to news thread.

I believe Jay replied to you about the individual knockouts the other day. It will be sorted later on in the season.

Also the team changes for both FBL and FCL that you posted had already been done (Jay told me to tell you).

Myself and keith have always given permission for players to post subs and swaps when asked to look out for opponents in week two of a fixture, MVP have always done this, 8 seasons last time round and 2 this time, this wont change as we feel it helps get fixtures played.

A simple post like the following in the Subs thread can save a load of hassle,

I give all MVP players permission to make and post subs/swaps in week 2 when asked by the Captain or Vice to look out for opponents.

Ideally better if you didnt have to post it and that situation kicked in automatically for all clans at the end of week1?

What happens if you dont post it and yourself, Keith and James arent online? No subs could be made even if everyone else from your clan was available to sub and swap around?

Any Captain is still free to say 'I am going to make all the subs', even in week 2, but if their team mates ignore them in that second week then thats an internal matter for the clan. Also if games arent played due to that Captain's decision then its a negative pointer come default time.

At least you guarantee a rule can never stop games being played.

I agree, make it automatic and give captains the option to opt out.

long as its limited (i.e. 2nd week or last 3 days of deadline) then i agree otherwise you will get players subbing on a regular basis to either get an easy opponent or something along those lines

Should be 2nd week, clans that leave games to last 3 days are risking them going to default.

I'm currently on theoretical "loan" at Team Angry, in which they will release me after a game fixture or two and i'll rejoin UT if things work out.

How about having an actual set of rules restricting and regulating loan moves like this. Could help out clans that lose a few players and need help staying afloat. Hopefully if set up properly could prevent clans from folding and shouldn't be abused too much?

Any suggestions are welcome, objections also believe it or not

we (as in not pool) have this but it is rarely used, it should only be used as a last resort to prevent a clan folding (maybe a maximum of 1 fixture set?), league runners must agree that the situation is suitable then both captains must agree to the loan

wonder if the league runner can take any action on this case this is the 2nd time he does this kinda stuff when ever he is getting beat he just quit last time he did against zantetsukenz do no maybe an a warning or banned from the league he can't been doing this over and over?

normally its a warning first or a final reminder, a ban should only happen if you are warned several times or done something extremely wrong.

Theoretical scenario (could happen not would)

MVP and snooker squad are close for the title, all down to the last game. MVP lends snooker squad's opponents 5 players (purely used MVP as they have the sort of squad that could)

That could happen but the way it has gone with Sam is that he left UT, and then joined Team Angry. This being his one allowed move during the season. If he did leave Team Angry though he could go back and play with UT.

I doubt as you said Lee that that would even happen with the scenario you put but if it did and i noticed it then i may put a stop to it as it is kind of fixing the league and the standings.

true but loans should only be in effect at end of each fixture not during it. never understood why transfers are allowed during fixtures anyway, fair enough if they have finished but if not i think they should finish the fixture before leaving.

loans should only occur to prevent clans folding and nothing more than that, and clans should aim to find new people ASAP and not rely on the loaned players to keep bailing them out

There is a rule that players can not captain or be a vice without experience of at least a season. To my knowledge samwisemac does not have the experience needed. Previous usernames are not taken into account.
