Due to the sad folding of TPA the schedules are going to be re-done again. This will mean the league will finish two weeks earlier than we thought. All new schedules will be added to the website when they are done.

Dont teams have to qualify for the leagues before schedules are done?

Yeah, but done it early to save time, if any teams do not qualify then the schedule is easily sorted

Re mich's (polar_bear) suggestion on the previous page, Keith (horse10000) could set up a League Announcements, Rules Update, General Update (or whatever you wanted it called) thread and then just simply cap and uncap as necessary to post news, default scores, rule changes etc so that nobody else was able to post on it in between times and clutter it?

I have a topic that i have been meaning to bring up for a while.

Personally i think the default panel idea which was used last season and which i brought up has been a success but many people expressed their feelings on it and made me wonder what to do.

Should it stay the way it is or should i change it back to six people again?

I think it is fine as it is now, it is more likely to be fair and unbiased as the people involved are not associated with the division they comment on

I think the idea of it is good.
However, there were several decisions in both divisions that were really far off what they should've been. Several of the people are new to the defaults team, so it might get better.

I would also recommend that defaults aren't done on average, but rather using the result that gets predicted most often. With average, a single terrible vote makes the score go awry.

I was open to an idea earlier on game server by someone (sorry forget who it was) but instead of the two separate panel's, maybe just a panel of say eight members?

I think most of the problems were created because they were simply poor decisions- not based on bias but because the people didn't really know what they were doing...

Yes there have been plenty of accusations of biase seb but in a lot of cases the stuff that was posted on the forums regarding defaults wasn't backed up by the evidence.

I think most of the decisions have been ok but there has been some that have been terrible not really due to bias mainly because as seb said people maybe haven't read through stuff right as new to defaults or maybe even people haven't read through all the info.
