Why?

Can I propose, as a captain that instead of having to read through about 20 pages a week through constant argument, cries of bullying and other rubbish, that the league runners do a weekly newsletter and if there is any proposed rule changes to include a poll in that newsletter?

Because quite frankly my days are better spent with my baby than reading all this utter nonsense, I would just like to know what is going on regarding the league not who is bullying who or who is reporting who for being mean.

That is a good idea polar_bear, I would do it but I too would prefer to spend time with my baby so it is left with Jay or Keith

surely if you got no time to be captain how can you have time to be vice sam it would only apply to people that have folded during a season

Being a captain is totally different to being a vice captain though, the captains are usually always on and doing everything. Vice's are only really there to make sure a game can be played if the captain is not online along with many other things.

I think it just makes it easier for everyone including league runners. This weekly newsletter could also include default results, which games they need the default information for, ads for helping out with the running and topics of discussion from the previous week. etc etc.

That way this thread will still be the same but the captains who have to search through everything to see what is going on have it all easily put in front of them, I don't see why we should sit here for about an hour looking through to see it is just really 4 players arguing about nothing that concerns me when we could have a newsletter which would take about 5 minutes. (That is an example don't want anyone getting excited thinking I am on about them)

At what point did i mention anything regarding the amount of time that a captain can put into a clan. Re-read my comment and adjust your post accordingly.

Not going to promise anything but if any big topics arise then if i have the time i will make a newsletter thingy.

newsletters are easy but its the poll within the newsletter what maybe the problem.

I don't think a poll is a very good idea, last time it caused more arguing than anything in my opinion.

Just so people are aware, due to the Individual League trialling out this new format, the actual league games are longer. Well one game is anyway, the cup final will be held after the last fixture set in division two (division two is longer due to more teams) and the final will last three weeks.

Cup final has always been said to run either two or three weeks anyway and last season it was a two week one and it got played quite quick anyway, this also helps the individual league though so that is the plan

Oh and the fixture schedule is on the website for both divisions/pre season and cup will soon follow.

i would do cup after friendlies as if a few teams don't make it you may need a redraw.

re draw will be easy enough

We know what we are doing . It can all be re-arranged before the start of the season, that is why there is a week break from friendlies until league games.
