but sarah i think you need to post about permission on clan threads as 4 teams has now been affected in a way they felt they got permission, a post on clan threads should see that this won't happen in future

What does the verb "sub" mean?
Did he have to include the word "yourself" to make it permission? (ie: would ya be willing to sub yourself in)

To sub means to substitute in, which to me means they want him to sub in.

Also, that does not have to be posted in the subs thread. It can be posted on either clan threads, which is what happened here.

The game : red4ever v pirate_steve has been queried , as with the previous game,this game will be looked into by league runners, and a decision will be made as whether to allow the sub to stand.

i would like to point out, before this gets totally out of hand, to ensure that correct procedures are followed for making subs :

5.1 Informing the league hosts
All substitutions must immediately be posted in the official league forum thread named "FBL Substitutions Thread". This enables fixtures and the web site to be updated promptly

5.2 Informing the opposing clan
All substitutions and swaps must immediately be communicated to the opposing clan captain or vice captain.Incase of a vacant captain / vice a list of players that maybe used should be posted on both clan threads and the official substitution thread by the captain or the vice.

5.7 Captains/Vices doing subs or swaps
Only the registered Captain / Vice Captains can make a substitutions or swap.

There will be no exceptions to these rules , offline message/pm permission will not be accepted. Any subs made , that have not been posted correctly will be ineligible, and if played the game will be invalid.

Captains of the teams involved will be messaged once the league runners have made a decision. It will not be up for a discussion on the thread, and the decision,once it is made, will be final

Having allowed it all season we wouldn't change things now.
Dan is co-captain and was at the time and gave permission to red4ever to sub in.
I'm satisfied with that personally.

Any of those ok?

Or does it have to say:
"I hereby solemnly declare that player x does indeed have my official permission to substitute himself into the game pirate_steve vs otherguy"

this is a case were no direct permission was granted a request was

and read back back the rev actually states he will speak to toluca there is no response and a player clearly subbed themselves in

my case sarah couldve easily approved the sub ,,,, but didnt so as not to bring the league into disrepute ,, blueberry did later sop who cares

If the same sort of thing had been posted regarding shooters game then I would have allowed the game to stand.
He clearly gives permission to sub in..he actually asks him to sub into it.
red4ever then stated when subbing himself in he has been asked to sub in...which he has on the thread.
We have allowed this sort of permission all season as long as it is by a captain or vice on the thread, no way should we change the way things are going because you can't accept things.

i think everyone should copy this, no mistake then
