Was unfortunately due to numbers this time around.
FBL only had 5 teams remaining from the previous season so had to split the leagues 5 in the first division and 7 in the 2nd division.
The large 2nd division has caused the big gap, hopefully more stability will come in both leagues in future and they will tie in better but the leagues were started at the same time and short of having a play off between the new teams for a 1st division spot which would have meant a late start and equalled the same gap, couldn't be helped.

True couldn't be helped really, like i said before when dextr was in charge we did talk about making them run side by side, but i think because of the larger division two in the FBL it would have been near impossible to do this as the FCL would be waiting an extra two weeks or more to get started in which i think a large number of people would not be happy with the wait.
It seems that there is going to be a good number of clans and possibly an even number so maybe after the FCL season is over and the FBL starts and finishes then something could be planned.

Would have been worse if anybody had realised that Top Dogs didn't have a team in the previous season and made them start in division 2 as well lol

With the exception of the games being replayed, FBL season 3 ends tonight at midnight(gmt)
The player transfer window for FBL will open at midnight(gmt)19/2/12 until 20.00(gmt) Fri 24/2/12
Please will all captains of clans wishing to participate in FBL season 4, please send their updated teamlists to anoneeemouse.
The deadline to apply will be 20.00(gmt) Fri 24/2/12.
