i think it should be open to all clans the bigger the leagues the better it will get

i dont get why exisiting rules are being questioned now

with the league matches so close to starting what was the point jay in you allowing weeks and weeks of open discussion ( a great idead btw) only now for people to question them after the events of a few days ago

on a quick note i read a little on underdogs and vipers thread earlier regards 2 players and an error

unless funkypool admin confirm one way or another, id suggest people leave this alone you are not funky police be you right or wrong

such a mistake was clearly made by others last season, i didnt hear many people saying off with their heads and ban them

and correct i mention no names, however it is well documented on a thread,,,,,

regardless of people on hear demanding ppl be banned, what proof can the league have ..... youve none unless admin provide this
id suggest data protection may have somthing to do with it and you wont get it

people accused another member only weeks ago and recinded a ban ,,, short memories i guess

other members have second accounts, even admitted on threads just recently, until FP ban ppl from having them all you can do is accuse without proof hardly fair

i think all people with second accounts should think before casting stones at others, dont you

There was no error craig someone was blatantly sat there logged in on 2 different accounts, posting and playing on each, one of which had just played a clan game.
Maybe you can't differentiate between funky pool and FCL but in the league we would rather not have accounts playing that different people are playing on...it's cheating and i'm glad they got caught out.
I have never had a second account so i'm ok casting stones by the way.
This is nohing to do with funkypool admin it is a league matter and why you are arguing now for people who are caught cheating to be allowed in the league is beyond me.
The league made the right decision without question.

No, we are not the funky police but we have a duty as League Runners to remove people doing harm to the league.

FCL and FunkyPool have seperate bodies regulating them (League Runners - Admin/Mods) and we dealt with the matter how we saw fit. If this does not correlate with FunkyPool, who cares, we are only interested in maintaining the League

The League can take any decision it likes against any player for any reason, however any posts made in respect of any action taken, or in consideration of any action, are still subject to the Forum Posting Rules.

For avoidance of doubt, it is strictly against these posting rules to post any accusation against any other member.

And it also follows that it is certainly against these rules, and totally unacceptable, for members to embark on any 'witch hunt' in the forum, concerted or otherwise, against other member(s).

Anyone breaking these Forum Posting Rules obviously risks losing their posting privileges.

The 'Contact Us' facility is also there for reporting concerns which may have a wider impact on site rules as a whole, in addition to League rules.

i dont think they are actually going to cap clan entry at 10 clans.. its just looking like thats the amount of clans that we will get this season craig.

Not sure where data protection comes into this youv mentioned this before, if this was a case of asking for ip addresses then maybe however whether 2 user names appear together is not against data protection.

There are a number of different sites that are more open with usernames being used from the same compute, just funkypool is not one of these.

correct, plus people has admitted to Jay about second accounts before and we had complaints from other members about second accounts too, you don't need to go to a moderator for everything as they wouldn't tell you but members can.

To be fair dgen mate, seein as a mod had confirmed someone could have two accounts as long as one was friendly based, thats not a problem. It becomes a problem when both accounts are entered into the same league. Therefore its a league problem, not a funkypool problem as long as one is friendly based

So i completely back up what you and jem have said

it states in the rules that any user having more the one account is breaking rules not cause you use one for friendlies that the same thing you still have 2 accounts admin can deleted anyone of your 2 accounts that you have
most of the time if you only post in one its hard for admin to find as people no that mmmm
its only when people tell others that they have 2 accounts that admin can look to see if they have

ADMIN told the player i was talkin about that you could have TWO accounts aslong as ONE stays friendly

and ur wrong, admin and mods can check IPs to see if 2 names are playing on that IP, they dont need a tip off before they check

The only reason it would affect the league is if a player uses two accounts in the league. If only one of the accounts is entered in the league, I don't see a reason for the league to get involved, since it won't affect it.
As soon as more than one account is used in the league by the same player, the league should ban all accounts involved.

i completely agree, two accounts in the same league is a problem to the league, not two accounts on the site...but people clearly keep missin the point that, yea, it was that in rules about not havin 2 accounts, but a member of admin had given permission for 2 accounts on funkypool

you could have 15 computers running on wifi, it could be 15 differant users it could be the same person,, you dont know for sure,, so as ive said i dont understand how you can make this assumption

I completely agree with that ^^^^^^^ but that doesn't give league runners or any members of a clan the right to bully someone on the forum to the level where they feel they have to deactivate, whether that person has two accounts or not there is a way of dealing with matters in a proper manner ~ take it to offline messages or pm and use contact us if you have concerns about multiple accounts

Sure that the league runners will have used the phrase at "the league runners disgression," I.e. if they have enough to believe it is the case they can act on it.

agree jo, people seem to forget that funkypool staff and league runners has the same goal with 2 accounts but has different roles.

runners job is to take second accounts out of the league if found (hard as they don't have the power the funkypool staff do)

and funkypool staff job is to make sure second accounts isn't on the site period.

its the members job if they want to to use contact us to report a second account in general and if there are 2 accounts in the league report to runners as well as funkypool staff
