There's no guarantee they would face each other depending on what the final format is. But if they did then it would be one against the other.

Would it be a good idea that if a clan enters 2 sides, that if 1 team pulls out after it starts that the other team is withdrawn aswell, otherwise a team at the bottom may just pull out and there players strengthen the other team, and it could benefit there other team, due to point losses from the other teams beating em.

Just the same as having one clan with 2 fixtures except 1 clan with 4 fixtures a set then

Super League IV

Please can clans wishing to take part this season post here - also indicating how many teams they are entering.

The number of entrants will decide the structure of the competition.

1. Uprising A
2. Uprising B
3. Snooker Squad

Regarding the two teams issue, I have thought about it and decided to go with the original plan.

As far as the League is concerned A & B teams are interchangeable however no one player can play in both the A & B teams during the same fixture period. This gives Captains freedom to decide tactics. They can stick with two even teams, favour one team over the other or tactically switch players around to try and get both teams through at the expense of others.

Assuming there are sufficient numbers there will be two groups from which teams will compete to qualify for the play-offs. Where clans have an A & B team entered, one will be drawn in each group.

Hopefully this will work and maybe bring some spice into the competition too. It will then be reviewed at the end of the season.

lol chris. I'm tempted to enter 2 teams just so I can really screw someone up at the end of the season so you get rid of it for the next season...

But in a little way that is part of the potential fun of it. Using your two teams to your best advantage to become the last clan standing.

Or you can use two separate squads of players for your teams.

Or you can just use the one team and put your best players out in that team.

You have loads of options.

I am currently 50:50 though over the inclusion of the Killer games - particularly if it remains in the FBL. Four Killer games in two weeks may be too many.

Not that it matters but i gifted the 9ball games so glad it was only a friendly, we both had a 7 balling in uk. There will be 7 ballings all the time so i don't think there should be a bonus point for that, and I've already said I'm not a fan of the 3 foul rule, had a chance to win by 3 fouls but not my way of winning and it would of been lucky as well cause he went in off!!

Good games m8 well played!!!

Yeah mate, I agree about the 7 ballings. Cos if anything is to go by, the situation where you got your 7 balling happens all the time to me lol. (I break in 8uk, split them well but nothing goes down sometimes, leaving quite an easy clear ).

7 ballings a lot of the time are down to good skill and tactics, but not all the time. But the same could be said for 3 fouls, golden breaks and run outs I suppose haha.

Lol you've made it sound like yours wasn't an easy clear haha!!

I think the 3 fouls rule requires just as much skill as 7ballings and run outs just 7ballings happen a lot more than any, to be fair tho you can get lucky with any so it's probably fair to give a bonus point for all or none!!

Nothing's easy when I'm at the table haha.

Yeah you're right. Personally I'm not bothered what (if any) bonus points are handed out. Whatever decision is made is never going to satisfy everybody so I'll leave it to everyone else

I don't agree with two teams now, clans are going to match fix left, right and center which i don't see the fun in.

That was my worry, which is why I suggested an 'A' and 'B' league.. With two separate permanent teams for each clan

How can you match fix, it is just utilising the players in your clan in whatever way you want, is that not a good thing as it would require skill from a captaining point of view?
