I like the idea of options 2 and 3. I think killer games should remain anyways as they are a nice change from the usual matches. Whether its option 2 or 3 i'm not pushed.

im not a fan of the format at all, especially with getting the 4 online for doubles, but if teams agreed to it in the first place they should stick to it regardless, if it were changed again, I feel it very unfair to snooker squad amongst other teams who won there first fixture, and with all the hassle of the arrangement of games which is a prob in any league, (I must say more of 1 in this due to the doubles), it just seems like a lot of hassle for nowt to me!

I personally don't mind which way we go, although I would be against making it a purely killer league.
Just let me know what people decide and we'll sign up. The only reason this has not worked is that people whined about it before trying it- just a lack of foresight. That's exactly what people were saying before SL and TCL as well, but they at least gave it a try and noticed it was good!
All leagues and competitions that chris has run have been well structured and thought out. So I'll sign us up to anything but a pure killer league.

Option 1 for me, like seb says players have not really giving it a try and it is a bright and refreshing change to a clan league format.

Our game versus unbeatables is very close and looks like it will go down to the last game and surely that is a good thing and should be encouraged if we can get lots of close games amongst clans rather than clan winning by large margins.

the old format gave 2 many points and bonus points teams where beat half way through fixture and had nothing to play for

at least this format makes it more a team game with the pairs concept and if u get so many points u earn points meaning every frame counts and something to fight for but need format explaining as do bonus points get added on at end of fixture or after every game

I say either a killer league or go back to TCL with tweaks, remove the bonus points, this new format was always going to be a nightmare for clans, keep the format simple and you might get members interested, might even give it a go myself lol

I also agree with this, im sure you mentioned this before Alan and i said the same thing. Think it was the bonus points that were the hated part of the TCL from quite a few people.

Bonus points were also liked by a lot of players, the reality was they had no bearing on the overall league and how it was won they were just ' a bonus ' which was meaningless in the overall outcome, some liked some didn't but they actually made no difference.

Yeah scrap all the bonus points, I would in all the leagues to be honest, you should only get the amount of points you get from your match add ons are pointless to me. Only make a loss worse than it previously were, in my opinion.

think ur wrong if a team are getting beat there beat but if u have a bonus point for getting within 10 -15 points gives teams something to fight for then getting beat and getting nothing

keep it simple and teams will play in it, If league formats are complicated and confusing your wasting your time, with 3 leagues captains will always choose to bin that league to make life easier when their team is struggling.

I understand with what you are saying matey, but come the end of the season I'd rather know how I or my team performed excluding bonus points. Bonus points to me will not show a true reflection in how I performed, giving a team more incentive to try is ok, but that same incentive should be from the start of any fixture. You said yourself 'never give up', that I agree with, but I will always play a fixture and try my best whatever the score. I would expect the same from all my team mates.

u always try but if ur getting destroyed fixtures over but if u get a point for every frame or if u get so many points gives u more incentive to try and get something from a match uve been battered in and get back into it saw it in many sports get beat by so many points u get a point and for getting back into a match u pick up a point that shows what ur comeback was worth

Went back and checked, I didn't slag off the super league, I did enjoy it being quick and lite. Can't remember if it awarded points for GB - not a huge fan of that concept but other than that really liked the format of the SL. I thought that the running of it by you Chris was really top notch and as I remember it ran very smoothly.

TCL on the other hand I did mock and would continue to do so as I did think it was a bit ridiculous - however that is my just my opinion, I am aware it was popular among other members - each to their own.

I do like the way the current format is, I think the way killer is implemented is really innovation and it carries as much weight as 8uk, 8us or 9 ball individually. However it seems part of the problem lies within this part of the competition.

Scrapping it altogether isn't really an option for me, it's a properly alternative clan league where FCL/FBL have echoes of each other (that's not a bad thing, but this league gives clans its variety).

I think the killer only thing wouldn't work as well as reverting to the original format. My vote goes to that (2 frames of the 3 main formats, bonus for runout/gbs, etc).

a clan killer match with say 2 a side. availability being a problem sometmes, but.........could ya start a game with 6 or 8, obviously split evenly lol, and make an alternate order with 2 or 4 players leaving in such a way as to leave it alternate thro clan players.

just would ensure maybe a tighter game, also possibly quicker, and, generally better???
