irony is you coming on here calling people sad for spending loads of time on here like earlier on this thread when you lived on here morning, noon and night till your mouse broke and no doubt will again.
I was arguing my points about the topics not coming on here to have a pop about old arguments and start another 4 pages of crap.

by the way what do people think of the individual league? it will definitely be changed to a knockout tournament format but how would you like it changed?
My Idea - 16 Players knockout in 8US, 8UK, 9 Ball, Straight (5 frames per round, 3 if Straight) (64 players total) with an added Plate competition
Chris's Idea - every player is entered in the competition (nearly 200 players) and will only be removed by player consent (3 frames of US, UK and 9 Ball << i think).
both games would have deadlines to complete games.

Quite civilised debates and sorting out of issues were going on before you arrived actually....since then we've had 5 pages of insults but when you come on here to cause arguments it's only to be expected.

Agreed. Only thing I don't like is that this removes straight from the FCL entirely. I can see why it isn't in league/cup games, but removing it from the individuals seems a retrograde step as many players enjoy it.

I'd go for Chris' idea, however you could do either 2 frames of each or 4 frames of each, and if tied after all them, then decider on straight?

I still don't think it has to be an either or with individual leagues or an individual cup. The advantage to having both is that anyone knocked out in the first couple of rounds of the cup still has regular involvement in the leagues. Also I'm wary of the cup being a disaster without it having being tried before
Disadvantage to having both is obviously even more games to play.
