Keith - I only said i agree with ipotalot, but after reading what you have said it does make complete sense. I am now swinging in favour of it being raised back to 20.
Individuals - I like the way it is now, but players do lose interest like doubted pointed out above. I don't think massive changes need to be made to the Ind League.

No, straight is not in League or Cup. Was added in individuals purely for the players listed. In the individuals for the FCL it should be FCL game types only.
I would be more than happy with 3 of each as per your post but i would also prefer one big knock out tourney so it was something different. As proven for the last few seasons the individuals drops off after the first couple of weeks. With knockout it would retain interest the more weeks that passed as numbers reduced and players got to quarters/semi and final etc.
well if people dont want it i would have done a 32 person knockout in the main 3 modes (sticking to current individual guidelines but in tournament fashion) so i thought ahead

How many fixtures have been unplayed this season, absolute loads.
I am in US8 and if i bothered and played some games i could win it, I am not bothering as i have lost interest as it is more hassle than its worth. If changed to a knockout i have only one game to arrange which is far easier.
which is what i did but not 180 player knockout like chris is suggesting too much work for me much prefer a simpler method

Don't worry about game modes just make it a free for all knockout

Every point picked up should be important, if we wanted it to be just about matches it would be 3 points for a win and we eouldn't count frames at all.
Don't see the problem with MVP winning all their games and not winning the league at all anyway.

I personally think 2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw. Frame difference to sort out teams on same points is better as that stops the scenario ever happening again. Also means that clans may rotate players more as after they get 61 frames the 2 points are in the bag and let any players finish any remaining games to save games going to default.

I am not sure what football team you support but i hope they don't win every game one season and still don't win the league. I am sure that you would be fine with it as another team had scored more goals and deserved it

Why is everyone complaining that Jay has changed the MAXIMUM number of players in a clan. There is no where saying that you have to actually have 16 it is up to each clan if they want to or not.
You can have 10 reliable players and still compete and play all games (Vikings proved this but i am sure they would agree they had some of the most reliable clan players in the league to achieve this)

League stay as 15 games (Has been this from about season 2 or 3) I would be unhappy to change a format that has lasted so well and hasn't really been questioned...................until chris
Cup i like the shortened game idea of 9. Can we stay at 5 v 5, 7 v 7, and 9 v 9 as the rounds progress as i think this has been a nice tweak that i wouldn't want to lose.

I am not sure what football team you support but i hope they don't win every game one season and still don't win the league. I am sure that you would be fine with it as another team had scored more goals and deserved it
It's nothing like football keith you winning a match by 1 point on here and getting 10 bonus points is plenty of advantage.
Obviously the other team totally outperformed you in the other games to catch up on the 20 points you had taken off them.
Every point should count it's a team game where players battle to pick up every point they can grab off sometimes a lot better players so every one of those points having a say in the league position is important.

Because nobody wanted it changed apart from YOU and it just means you can get another unreliable player from the top 10 rankings to play the odd game here and there...it's a joke.
If players aren't on enough to manage their game a fortnight...radical idea replace them.

dgen - it was never a case of either or. I have no idea whether a large scale cup works. It does in theory but putting it into practice is something else. It could be a disaster
I am willing to give it a try but don't let that stop you organising something if you and others want it.
Also there is no slur on your reputation if anyone doesn't play their game. It's only voluntary. As I said before anyone wanting to opt out can be accommodated but it is easier to have everyone and have dq's than wait for entries and then still have dq's

ipotalot - have you ever tried researching the clan leagues from the first season or two? You would love them. You could try and restart them in that format and see what everyone thinks.

chris-why don't you research the last 3 seasons and see that there wasn't any problems with formats.
Everyone enjoys the games if you hadn't noticed so if there are slight obvious improvements fair enough otherwise you are just changing for the sake of it and most of the time not for the better.

It is a league and if you win all your games you should win the league its not a difficult concept to understand (This should count for any event, football, rugby, snooker, darts or pool). I used football as an example as i thought you might understand it better than pool
