1.8 Quarantine for new signings
Only players (user names) who are registered for a clan at the time each fixture is published may play games in that fixture. Any player that joins the clan after this point is not eligible to play until the following set of fixtures. Note that this means players changing their user name are also not eligible to play until the next set of fixtures.

In the interests of cutting back on defaults is it possible that teams could make a request to the league to allow an exemption to the above rule for new players to take part and leave it to the discretion of the league runners whether they do allow it on an individual case by case basis?

For example Underdogs entered the current fixture set with nine players. Two are currently absent although of course there is still time for that to change. One new player has signed since Sunday but is ineligible. Therefore at present it would be impossible to complete eight fixtures. That potentially causes problems for the League Runners in additional work and for the opponents in having to justify why bonuses should still be awarded.

I accept this may simply just create a new grey area which wouldn't be ideal but that needs to be weighed up against any advantages. Anyway something else to consider?

true, please check my loan idea as well, i also thing those who sit out due to be booted or whatever could be eligible for the loan.

e.g. beth got kicked by wolf pack, underdogs struggling runners confirm they are struggling, then if dex and cke agree then beth could make the move.

These rule changes are getting ridiculous! If people don't sign reliable players it's their own fault. If they don't replace players quickly enough it's also their own fault!!
Changing rules, loop holes, exemptions that's all we've had this season! I didn't want the old transfer rule changed and from what I remember there was only one person who did but it got changed and it should be stuck to till the end of the season at least and if it's changed it should just be changed back to captains releasing players.

But would need to be immediately available in the current fixture.

Is this something that might be changed this season or held till next?

I would have no problem if underdogs find a couple new players and play them in current fixture set to stop games going to default.
