what i don't get is, no matter what we do people always down the league runners and don't deny it because it happened to kev (when he was decent), me, jan, no idea about potty as it was before my time. like they have a grudge of some kind.
seasons not even started yet and i feel uneasy.

Says people generally James not league runners then you agree to 8 v 8...thought that was the idea of the discussion thread, to help you reach decisions based on clan members opinions not ignore them.

More wanted it than didn't, could find the post where you said that too if you would like?
Carry on though with 1/3 of clan members getting to play in the cup and it being a 'mickey mouse' non-event.

I agreed with the cup change and got out voted i dealt with it, but if James feels the need to bring up the discussion to everyone again then fair enough. My vote is the same as it was, i like the idea it sounds cool.
Alans idea of 7 - 7 then 9 v 9 then final of 12 v 12 sounds good too though i like that alot

you have other fixtures, some people cant manage 3 fixtures in 2 weeks, plus FBL on top thats a possible 5.
what if clans dont have 4 players to play with, automatic forfeit, nope.

I wouldn't mind if you just got a vote from captains and if they wanted 5 v 5 then fair enough but at the end of the day I don't think anyone can claim the cup is a success as it is....nobody bothers with it because as I said many times nobody gets to play in it

well no one complained about it for 14 seasons about it being 5 v 5, my question to you is why now? people can take a break they have other fixtures to play so its not like they are missing out.

You have 15 in a squad, games take an hour a fortnight. Most people have 1 hours worth of league games adding an opportunity to play in the cup would be welcomed.

Obviously people have complained about it before and just given up trying to reason, read alan's posts it's clearly been brought up many times before.
We have 15 players, everyone plays a game 1 gets 2 a fortnight. Pretty sure everyone would happily play 2 and a cup because we prefer playing clan games to tourneys they're a lot more rewarding.
If people didn't want to play clan tournaments they wouldn't be in the leagues.

why not just leave it at 5 v 5
if no one is happy put it to clan captains, but shooters are happy with 5 v 5
as for 15 players, in a team then why sign 15 players if they are not at a standard to play
why bother signing them them if you have no intention of playing them

Makes no sense at all actually nobody has mentioned anything about standards of players or not wanting them to play.
I did mention that our players would happily play every game was wondering if it was something to do with that.
