What does it matter what time of the day a tourney takes place?
The ranking system is still exactly the same.

Think you are missing a few points...
1)Tournapoints are multiplied by the amount of people so if there are 8 people in a late night tourney you get 112 points, peak time tourney you're looking at around 500 points

2)Playing for rankings is a lot easier in ranked games. You can get up to 800 quick enough in tourneys but then you are winning 1 point a game and losing 5/6 if you slip up and lose a frame.

tournaments at 3am have 5 or 6 entrants so should carry no kudos.

I agree with that one there's a few on here that have hundreds of tourneys because they play at 5.00 in the morning, there should be a minimum number of entrants before it counts as a tourney win.
