I've actually given my opinion on what i think would work i'm happy that an 8 player hourly one game with tournapoints available would be easy to do and be popular.

8player every hour means those who want to enter are unable to which is duely unfair, the tourny scedule is already packed for hourly as it already is so can't see a place for it to fit in

It's the same basis as a micro one they are full the tourney starts so if that's unfair then so are they.
The only way killer tourneys would work as an extra addition without complicated changes is if it is just one match in my opinion because of loads of factors.
You could have a 15 man less often but the principle is the same.
Tourney schedule is full that;s why I suggested it be like a micro hourly although a 15 man would be full constantly and that would be 3 times as many people as you see in most of the friendly tourneys.

an hourly tourny is open to everyone, hence the micro's are called micro's as their shorter tournys. Therefore you either need an open hourly or loads of micro's which do not count towards a tourny win on the profile.

You couldn't do an open hourly with killer though, forgetting all the 1 v 1 programming stuff for tourneys with rounds one game lasts half an hour the other lasts 5 minutes just wouldn't work.
People want it to work because they love the game and so the micro style hourly would be a good comprimise.
Sure acredditing killer tournaments on your profile isn't a problem, someone wins one it goes down as a killer tournament win.

then people will wonder why the micro's don't count - if you sign up to a tourny your expected to wait x amount of time as it is - 22minutes for 3 frames of uk8 i believe it is, so 30minutes for a 3man killer is more then enough.

if killer tournaments is easy enough to do through micro then my answer would be go for it.

im not sure how easy or hard it is to code but if anyone can do it, nick can.

would be helping to have a coding expert post like spinner, blutch or even nick himself to clarify this situation.

if it did work normally you would need to find out thats best combination (e.g. 25 entries, 5 killer games of 5 players then a final game of 5 players to decide a winner) but any lower than 4 entries shouldn't be classed as a tournament win.

james the coding side of it isn't as easy as what you feel it would be, obviously if someone wishes to try and code it & then use that as the basis for nick or the rest to tamper with to improve feel free.

My issue is that you can't have a micro tourny which counts as a tourny win without the others doing so aswell.

When entering a tourny you are prepared to wait 22minutes or so per round so back when the tourny's were entered even more there would be 80 people in for example.80 would take a fair while with around 3/4 rounds + quatre's etc etc each time there could be a 22minute waiting per next round - when you decide to enter you are aware of this yes most of the time it may not take the full time but regardless you've accepted and therefore it's your fault if you get bored waiting.

With a killer tourny if there was to be a 3 way i couldn't see a problem with that getting finished within 22 minutes, this way you would have 33 enterants, 22 go out, 11 progress 22minutes done. and so forth but trying to cut it into a micro personally is a no go.

people get enough points from killer without them being doubled or whatever because its a tourni.. and who really cares about having a killer tourni win their profile.. playing any killer game be it 3 man or 15 man with decent players takes forever as it is... some things are best left alone IMO.
