For a start Jan didn't run the league, Steph did.
When Steph ran the league the rule was 2 months and no one was allowed to be registered for a clan untill their account was old enough, it was me that suggested and got the rule accepted into the league and I also kept an eye on signup dates for her, if there was anyone registered and in a teamlist on the website that wasn't 2 months old she removed them.
If you want to discuss changing the rule fine but please don't say its been allowed in the past just to justify changing it, I've played in the clan league since season 2 and this is the first time I've heard of this being done.

Bring back the 2 month rule would stop all this arguments

jan allowed them in the teamsheet but didn't play, the fixture thing was still the same.

i think 2 months is a long wait really, you would miss a season and a half instead of 3/4 of season.

the 2 month rule gives people a good length of time to find out what there good at and what areas they can improve in, so surely the 2month rules is justified as it will make them a better player

Thats why it was relaxed to 1 month which can be 6 weeks in some cases, as mentioned plenty of times before this rule is in place mainly to try and combat serial deactivators.
Players who are reliable and do not get banned/deactivate would not have a problem with 2 months as is shown by support above.

Well if Jan allowed them on the teamsheet he was breaking FCL rules, its not all about the rule bending previous runners used to do, its about a rule thats been on the go for a long time now and you wanting to change it.

for my idea what was discussed i think its safe to say most are against the idea now, one of the runners who said yes earlier has changed his mind.
so with that in mind the rule stays as it is, however i will still put them in teamlist if they request it.
but they would miss the fixture they turned eligible on (like horse was saying) if that makes sense.
