Im not in the team in question, whoever they are, I would love to see this rule changed now, as I've said in a previous post I think it would benefit everyone, captains would know whos leaving and can look into replacements and the new clans can then name the players for friendlies that are beneficial for helping them get up and running and entry into the league.

If a player wants their captain to know they are leaving at the end of the season they tell them anyway.
Rule changes happen at the end of season because it's fair that way all that waiting till the end of this season means is that 1 team has to follow the same rules that every other new clan has had to.
Also would give everyone a chance to have their say and the final decision on the rule be made.
You've already gone from the 'as long as the captain ok's it' new one to being able to name half way through the season...still lot of opinions to get

I think thats a good idea, or have a rule to say that people cannot announce there making a new clan untill 3 or 4 weeks from the end of the season

Don't see a problem myself, woulda stopped all the arguing with Chips n Gravy a fortnight or so ago and this too.

Think about proportionality- you want to ban a clan from playing in the league because they've named players *with permission* and have done no damage to any other clan at all.

this transfer rule is bloody ridiculous

lol we (me and jimmy) had this problem so we decided just call everyone unamed just in case any rules are broken

yeah but our captain didnt know about the rule to begin with until people kindly pointed it out.

no harm done as mich gave us permission but kev's quiet word did the trick i think.

I have never read the rules but did hear about it a while ago but forgot untill was reminded

it easy everyone knows our players lol but just as long as we dont name them were Ol even had a game within the clan without naming people should try it :)

players couldnt transfer in seasons gone bye whilst season is running , only free agents, the rule was changed i dont no when but its been changed

lol liam the unnamed clan match looked like fun. our captain doesn't have the experience you have when running clans and before the naming rule was pointed out he didn't know, kinda sucks to do unnamed clan match when you know who they are anyway.

and craig i think rule is fine as it is, its up to the captain if they want to release players or not, its in the captains hand.

however on snooker you have to stick in a clan otherwise you cannot play for half the season.
