i was playing a 9 ball game and was playing a very good player whos ranking was 840 or something and there was a few balls left all easy pots and assumed he would clean up, i said "gg" before the game ended and he missed an easy shot to pot and then blamed the miss on me, for saying gg when he hadnt finished. i want to know what other people think of calling "gg" before game ends? should we or shouldnt we say it?

im against saying "gg" before the game ends or before youre willing to concede (which you can't in pool).
why would you say it early? it really puts people off. gg is said at the end of the game.

Yes i was the player who moaned ,,,,its not cos i lost which was my own fault for missing ,,but GG while there balls on table does my head in ,,i hate it tbh

I don't like it either. I think it's quite disrespectful, you should allow a player to finish before saying it, half the time it feels like a jinx and you end up failing to win.

I hate the gg before the end to be honest. I think there should be a gg button so if you press it then it says gg and ends the game after their visit, that way you would know if they really mean it or if they are just being a douche

Personally when im with good mates we usually talk and take the pee and joke about while just practicing. So someone saying good game before a game ends to me is nothing lol. The only reason it puts you off is because you do it to yourself i used to be like that so i know. Just play your game and if they say it pot the ball and act arrogant that they never put you off. Simples.

basic good sportsmanship to wait til the end to say it.
coz if unfinished and easy shots left when oppo says gg as yer flowin, it may not be off-outtin but it just plants the seed for anger if u do miss one of those easy shots and lose.

v rarely have i dun it and in those cases i'd maybe even hit it as last shot was bein taken and maybe even missed!!!

The only way you are really going to stop it is if we disabled chat during matches, which would defeat the purpose of having friends watching your game.
