Defoe and Crouch had been putting the goals away in qualifying, and are our only strikers who play together at club level and he leaves Rooney on who has done nothing and looks less likely to score than Defoe, Heskey isn't however you look at it going to ever score more goals than Crouch would, so why put him on when you need goals?

Funny that before that goal (after our first) we were absolutely all over the Germans, was 2-2 could've easily been more if it would have been allowed as it was a goal

We never got going, Capello ain't the manager to take us forward, never really thought he was even after the false hope of qualifying. I want an English manager, maybe Psycho.

2-2 and the game could be different. People who say it didn't affect the game talk out their rear ends as they should know that in any sport, momentum is crucial and 2-2, we would have had momentum into half time and maybe pushed on to win.

We were poor, hopefully Mexico kick some arrogant Argentine butt and then beat the Germans with Ghana beating Uruguay in the top half

didnt say we battered the Germans, I said after our first goal (after 30 mins duuuuh) we were all over the Germans, were confident which was the only time we were in the game, and every attack we had we looked like scoring, If the Germans were 2-2 after being 2-0 up with the momentum being with us (we could've been winning by half time) then they would'nt have been able to come back, they only scored by countering us, because we had to attack

After the disallowed goal, we lost the confidence and lost the match, you would be stupid to think that Germans would've battered us had that goal stood (or a cheating Argentine)
