still comes back to the fact, i wouldve thought as a member of the league our views would be taken into account, nobody is saying the league runners are doing a bad job, we are just trying as active players with responsibilities to our teams to ensure fair play to all

im trying to be helpful by offering an oppinion, i just dont think band users, running teams from behind the scenes is acceptable or being helped back in the clan system, over a new player.

they are not reliable ! ! they got banned there problem and self inflictaed, much the same as players who deactivate

Totally agree Craig, on the reliability front that is, for example someone could come back before their ban is up say they are allowed back walk into a team willy nilly (lol I said willy) and be banned within a week leaving that team a bit screwed, just like a player could deactivate again if let in straight away.

I as said oh so often believe 1 rule should apply to everyone.

Well you and Jan have said previously that banned users will be exempt from the quarantine period on their return to the site.

and why is that such an issue? they have served there ban

They are a new account all the same, means anyone could trot along claim to be a banned user and walk into a clan no problem and we would have no way of knowing.

Plus as I said players could come back before their ban is up claim that it is up go into a clan and be banned again leaving that clan in a mess through no fault of theirs.

Clearly more of a liability than a deactivated user in my opinion (and many others opinions)

You make a thread to ask our suggestions etc on things we give you our suggestions and are basically being overlooked in favour of banned users, so what is the point in this thread?

I have got to agree with mich and a few others, banned users should have to wait the same two months as new accounts with no exceptions.

In terms of importance to the league you are no more important than any others here and your rude suggestion should be ignored.

I agree banned users shouldn't be able to come straight back at least maybe 2-4 weeks to prove that their ban is up and no problems further related bans

Yes as in your 'not allowed view' ie your saying everyone else shouldn't have a discussion or an opinion. Ie you wouldn't be so anti everyone saying they want banned user treated the same, if it would not directly influence your captain coming back

As i have no interest in clans etc i think i should put my point across from a fair veiw. Keep it at 1 month sure your going to get complaints but same with everything, if people think about it the majority will be ok with that and if not then ban them lol. Simples

This is very true. Under basic funkypool rules, any previously banned user, upon return, is the same as a new user. Newbie rules apply before posting rights are granted etc etc.

With this in mind, combined with the high percentage of banned users who either claim their ban is up early, or re-offend within days, sometimes hours, of returning, It seems only logical to apply the same rules to returning banned members as to any other form of new account.
