Have being shouting for seasons for larger clans hopefully they will listen this time.

I think 15 is a great idea, should help cut down defaults and be great to cover for holidays.

I agree with the 15players to each clan is a gd idea, but only 8games get played, and those players that dont get a game, may get bored of waitin around and decide to create a new clan, therefore defaults may still play a part towards the end of season when those not getting games, get fed up with it.
But i have mixed feelings about it if im honest, its a great idea, but i hope that the league staff dont start adding more games per fixture, cuz defaults will still play a part because of havin more games to be played.
Maybe league staff should get rid of unreliable players rather than unreliable clans, there would be less clans yes, but they will be full of reliable players. Just a thought lol
Also maybe have a limit on the ammount of clans in the league, untill other clans prove they are serious, prehaps in a seperate league

Its just a maximum amount of players each clan can have, not all clans will want 15 but the option would be there to help especially with holiday cover,
it would be up to captains to keep their own players happy, I know plenty players that like a break during the season so increasing to 15 would be ideal.

well instead of increasin the clan size, maybe an emergancy signin would be more apropriate if need be, and tht signin can play regardless of whether or not they joined before the fixture was released.

"They" have been listening all the time - and you are not the only one who have wanted larger clans.
It seems there is pretty wide support for that point of view at this time, so with all likelihood I would expect the limit to be increased for next season, but it's not my call to make so can't make any promises yet, other than this most certainly will be considered (again).

"They" have been listening all the time - and you are not the only one who have wanted larger clans.

A increase to 14 or 15 players is not a bad idea and in my opinion could have been implemented a season or two ago.
Only thing you would have to consider is that more players will be without a game.

exactly m8 i think 12 is right number....some clans are strugglin to get that llike ours ab i know i wouldnt wanna b in a clan of 15 an be sub alot of the time. aswell alot of players who say they want to be in a clan are not actually reilable enough

Yep, there are a few cons to increased clan sizes too, but all in all, the option of having a few more might do more good than harm...

Yes 15 may be a good idea to some but think of the poor blokes who have to sit out week after week, 12 gives you enough room for rotation amongst the players. If you think currently over a season of 10 fixtures there are 80 slots so players on average should get around 7 matches. If you increase that to 15 it then drops to 5 matches on average, or you get players sitting out most of the time. Now to play 5 fixtures in a 10 week season doesn't sound appealing to most.
All good and well increasing to 15 but would you want to join a squad that big only to be left out week after week

well i think the bad reasons outway the good.
clans may become less competitive
and existing clans cab struggle even more so to get players

But then you've not taken into consideration subs, with less subs captains may be unwilling to sub someone who may well get the game played soon, but may not. This is because they dont have many subs and if they sub them out, thats one less sub, with 2 or 3 extra players then there would be no worry as there is always more people to sub in.
Also, i know its happened to several clans and only one of them has pulled through it, where they get a surge of players wanting to play for them but hit the limit of players so stop then a few weeks later players leave for whatever reasons and those other players have found another clan or dont want to play so that clan ends up with minimal players.

I've been thinking about something entirely different (also related to the goal of making games happen and as few defaults as possible)...
Pardon if this has been suggested before, but I don't think so:
Instead of set fixtures, where each player has a single, named opponent he/she has to find, meet up with and play, you could in theory go the completely opposite direction:
One team is matched against another team, but without any restrictions on which players play each other. Each player can play maximum one game in each fixture... First 8 reported results count.
This would mean that for example if Wipeout was playing MVP one week, I could look for ANY MVP player, grab them, play (if they are available) and get that result reported.
The downside to all this is that in order to really give any big benefit at all, it would require players to be aware of who plays for the team they are up against, and actively keep an eye open for them. Something captains could help out with too obviously.
I'm sure there are plenty pros and cons I haven't thought of here too so feel free to shoot it down. Just an idea I find interesting despite being a bit on the radical side.

Theres also the argument that their are only a certain amount of players willing to play in clans, then those who may not be considered reliable enough to play can be given a chance as there is the extra cover
as for the amount, i think 14 would be better to start with as it doesnt really impact much, and it isn't really taking players away from one clan as players with either go for where they are more likely to get a game or they wouldn't want to go to a lower clan anyway

i still dont get what is wrong with the current 12 its up to the captain to get the right players if not to replace them
