yeah...looked at the commonwelth bank (one of australias largest banks and the main currency trader in aus)...

If I was to win say 6 pounds, then according to them, I would only really win 5.50 pounds back (when I checked it now).

Thats not much of a loss I know - and I probably wont play for money anyway, but just thinking of others who may not have been aware of currency exchange.

XE is great - but it doesnt put into equation that sometimes say AUD-GBP is better/worse than GBP-AUD for example

I think it is a great idea. It will bring a different flavor to Funkypool.

Personally, i would not play it. The only reason is that i know my money would not be well spent, because i know i would not win a game against a more skilled player.

would love to see funky played for money as its mainly skill involved,if this does get the go ahead then i would like to see a tourney where everyone pays an entrance fee and top 4 for eg take a certain percentage of the winnings

Just £2.50 or so to enter, Everyone agrees a terms and conditions that includes, if you lose connections then there is not anything that can be done about it. then it can be winner takes all, or shared out between the top 3/4.

Instead of everyone using different currencys why dont you create a credit system that allows you to buy credits in your chosen currency and then allows you to cash the credits back out into your chosen currency again.
