Disappointed in Divison 4 Players

Funkyleagues09 will be undergoing some major changes between seasons to get things interesting again.

calling for all ideas into the matter.

Some of my initial ideas are

Speed games
Endurance Games (first to 5 or 10)
Speed Endurance
Timed Ties (as many games in __ minutes)

please comment on these ideas, and any other suggestions you may have.

Would rule that out, as some people may calculate the time wrongly, and it's tougher on defensive players.

Endurance games to 5 would be interesting, though it depends on how the other fixtures are like.

well i suppose that having timed games, the two players would have to be responsible in saying "ok, we are starting now, we have 15 minutes - 15 minutes time it will be __ past the hour"

basicly, I want something to replace straight, or replace a part of straight. I see people playing the other games fine, but they always tend to leave 14.1 for later; then it never gets finished.

so I wouldnt mind a nice alternitive...something far different from anything else so its unique.

Due to lack of interest and no games being played, FL09 will TEMPORALLY be cancelled.

All players positions are now revoked.

A new league will be starting soon under the same name which will be more interesting and much different from Yoda All Style Leagues.

Hope you can all come back, but it will only be open to a strict criteria.

Endurance Competition

Knock Out format - First to 5 in 8 ball UK and US and must win by two frames (even if it gets to say 75-73) and first to 7 in 9 ball (win by two frames)

Could also be done in groups of four (but I would prefer knock out comp of 8)

All Rounder Competition

a TIMED round of 10 minutes of each discipline (play as many games as possible in amount of time). Then play one game of straight. If there is a draw, then a 5 minute, 10 second period of agreed match will be played. if there is still a draw, then it will restart and another 5 minute match will be played, and repeated until there is a winner.

Expected match length of an Endurance match should take around an hour. And expected length for a All Rounder should be around 45 minutes.

Endurance will be Knock out and All round would be in groups of 5 - in two divisions.
