sorry but you cant be the greatest ever when you only play one game type - and when you do play the others you are distinctly average (as he is at the moment)

let him show how good he can be across all games then start this thread again until then he may just be the best UK8 player ever

Arguably I think is the word you're looking far.

At UK right this very moment there are players that can beat him I'm sure on their day, but he is the best at the moment consitently. As Chris rightly pointed out, I think to be the greatest ever, you need to be at the top or at least towards the top at every achievment on the game. The closest I can see to that is quick_pot. But that is just my opinion.

Haha na, I'm agreeing he is currently the best player and probably playing the best stuff that anyone has played for a good while.

I agree he can never be considered the all-time best because of his UK speciality.

Knew it would be construed like that but it really isn't lol. It was more a wee dig at david rather than adam, after all adam is definitely the best there ever has been at UK, the rankings and tournaments prove that. There would be something wrong if you were jealous over an internet game, wouldn't there?

Certainly the most consistant over the past few months, and without any shadow of a doubt, a top class player of the game.

I haven't played him enough to make a verdict on whether he's the best I've seen though, from what i've seen so far, I would have to say I've still played better players.

Hopefully he'll prove me wrong though

Iv seen onua play a few times and he will agree on this as well that hes been beat every time iv watched him and played poorly, but his stats say that hes the best around at UK, to be honest if i played onua i would predict a 10-9 result either side.

Ok i'm going to give my 2 cents, onua is a great player, no doubt about it and in the times ive played him, he has beaten me more times than the other way around, but after looking through 7 pages of results I got bored of looking, when was the last time he played anyone over 750 rank? perhaps the tournament count negates this, but surely to be the best you have to beat the best, I know myself I put a lot more effort into playing ranked than a tournament say, and when I do play ranked (apart from 9ball) I create a room and play anyone that enters, the higher the better in my opinion.

The fact remains though that he has the highest ever rank and that it will probably not be beaten for a very long time.

But if I got to 900 I wonder would he play me first to 5 or 10?
