We never had a title chance in the first place lets be realistic, for the past God knows how long we been sayin oh this year is ours... It isn't we need to face that fact and stop beating ourselves up about not winning the league when we all know deep down we do not have the squad to.

We have spent more than United past 5 years and where has it got us? We get 2 players injured and all of a sudden were throwing games away! It's not good enough.

We need a big change to happen soon, we need the Americans out, we need to stop Zonal marking, we need someone other than Torres and Gerrard who can score, and we need some GOOD youth players coming through in case we do get an injury then we have good protection.

We are a shambles this season, was bound to happen sooner rather than later but now this should give us the kick up the backside we need to sort us out and hopefully turn us around and in a few seasons (maybe 2 or 3) be challenging for the title.

will be too late for liverpool for a title challlenge man city will be the team beat! gerrard will be that bit older will he be able carry on?

We've dropped points that where we shouldn't have, like against Wolves, Everton, West Ham (that was the worst, dominated and lost), Burnley. Could have been top had we not messed up in those games, but we are starting to get maximum points and back in the top 3 with a win over Sunderland tonight

Still will be difficult to get into the top 4, but we'll give a good go and who knows, dreamers could have us winning the league

Next 3 games are crucial:

Stoke (H) where we messed it up last season, 2-0 up and drew 2-2 and it went downhill after that

Arsenal (A) last "big 4" to play against, got 100% against the "big 4" so far

Liverpool (H) attempt of the double over Liverpool

Tricky games, but if we can get 6 or more points from those games, big step to the top 4 maybe.

This is going from bad to worse...

Sending off... Was a tough hard challenge, if you watch it clearly Mascherano missed the ball but went through the players legs, okay it should have been a booking but not a sending off.

We're in danger of making a challenge illegal these days its becoming ridiculous.

Great goal from Pompey, some are arguing offside but you should always play the whistle so if the whistle doesnt get blown you carry on, complain after the ball has gone out of play or something.

Liverpool need to step up a gear, we have got a left back playing in midfield when we have 2 wingers on the bench who are both better than him, why he didnt start N'gog after his performance on Wednesday night is beyond me, he should have started with Torres. He has his best game in a Liverpool shirt, scores a goal and gets dropped, what else can he do?
