The Jokers have hit again.
Football will become a non-contact sport.
Michael Turner, for his hard but fair header has been given a 4 match ban after Sunderland appealed for his red card to be rescinded because the appeal was deemed to "wasting their time".
Strong tackles are as good as out, no chance of having any more players like Norman "Bite Yer Legs" Hunter and Julian, the left back that played for West Ham, (can't say his actual surname because of a stupid blocker on this forum) in the modern game who were known for hard tackling, because their type of tackles will be red cards.
The FA are a disgrace

What was wrong with that tackle?
It was a good strong header. To attack a ball in the air, the arms do naturally come up, did he go up for the ball or to hurt the player.
Eyes on ball, so was NEVER a red card

*yawn* Football is ridiculous hese days... Sent off for going up for a header yet Arsenal and Hull only had 1 player each booked in a "mass brawl" where's the justice?

Completely agree with you Mich, I mean, Steve Bennett said he wouldn't send off Nasri for delibrately stepping on a player's ankle.
Inconsistent, punish good tackles, and ignore senseless actions

Going to slate two teams here, two teams that have fans on the site too.
Portsmouth AND Arsenal. Why am I slating them? Spot the Englishman in the starting 11s
Pompey:
Begovic, Kaboul, Hreidarsson, Finnan, Ben-Haim, Belhadj, Mokeona, Hughes, Boateng, Yebda, Piquionne
Arsenal:
Almunia, Sagna, Vermaelen, Gallas, Traore, Diaby, Nasri, Ramsey, Song Billong, Arshavin, Eduardo
If you can spot an Englishman in those line-ups, you win a pack of Smarties
But it's meant to be the ENGLISH Premiership, disgrace in my opinion that neither team started with an Englishman, granted two finished the match, but they were only on for 5 minutes combined time.

Aston Villa 5-2 Burnley
Disappointed with the late goal we conceded as that means Liverpool will stay ahead if their dull game against Manchester City continues. But after going a goal down and then 1-1 at half time. 3 goals in 5 minutes did the trick with the 5th goal coming 8 minutes after. Good win and onto the Cups with Palace on Wednesday and the big one next Sunday against Manchester United.
5 goals, 4 scorers, ALL English
