You've named some good ones, but how can you say Die Hard 1 was awful when you've put death race in there?

Death race was cool, its took a classic and cgi'd it into the 21st century, as for die hard 1, the story line was too basic, at the time it was alright but when you balance it up with the rest of the die hards(vengance+4.0) it just doesn't cut it....

die hard 4 was horibble compared to the first ones!!

jumper was most likely the worst movie last year in my opinion. and i can usually sit though till the end of poor movies but not that 1!!

They are all amazing (though i thought number 4 was kind of bad)

Ammmmmmmm my memory is bad so I'm thinking The Dark Knight, though I know that's not quite right. Loved Adaptation. And Sleepers. Hmmm, undecided on an all out favourite though....

Ha, I don't think reading the book would be quite the same! Guess that's the whole point of the movie eh; Make an obscure book into a weird yet amazing movie.

Ah but the book isn't that obscure, in the book world!

I have it but haven't got round to reading it yet. I do however agree that the film will be better than the book in this case.

I also saw today a book called 'The Notebook' and I can only assume it's wher the films comes from. Don't think I'll be reading that....

Well, considering the part where they discover an amazing new drug and they hunt nick cage and twin brother nick cage through the woods (and all the other good parts) were all creations of the screenwriter's mind and aren't in the book..... i think the movie is probably better! The book is just about the whole orchid thing. Not sure how captivating that would be!
