Bored!

I'm so bored i want to scream,
The last couple hours have been like a bad dream,
If i don't do something soon, i fear i'll lose it,
So bored and annoyed i can't even enjoy the cricket,
If i had something to do, i'd jump at the chance,
I wonder, can i show my boredom, through a bored stance?
I hope a movie comes on tv soon,
Before out comes the bright moon,
If i sit here much longer, i'll annoy myself more,
As i'm finding myself even a bit of a bore,
So i'll end this quick poem, i created to help,
The boredom i'm experiencing, making me want to let out a yelp!

Four days to go and all is well
Im so xcited, cant you tell?

People smiling and sharing gifts
Healing them old family rifts

All dressed up for parties galore
Mistletoe hangin above the door

Snowball fights for cold time fun
Slippin and fallin as you run!

Seeing old friends, getting kissed
Eating drinking and getting............drunk :P

I know its only once every year
But i sure love the Christmas Cheer

Eternal Rest

A heavy heart deep inside,
How long will the feeling last,
Life moves on after the love is gone,
Weary eyes search in the darkness,
Helpless, a beacon of light unfound,
Will the darkness ever fade?
The shackles of loneliness cling tight,
How long will I be held captive in my own mind?
Impenetrable in the darkness,
Respite from the pain is shortlived and futile,
Darkness returns worse than ever.
Saviour only has one face,
When will they return to grant eternal rest.

Safe Haven

Waves of tiredness sweep over my body
Drifting from this world to the next
Is this really the right decision?
Bleary eyes and blurred vision
Everything feels so warm and fuzzy
Senses dulled, unnecessary.
Earths safe haven from pain
Breathing is quiet, movements slight
Will it all end tonight?
Life returns with a jolt
Senses slowly restored
Vision returns and sleep disappears

Jeez you have to be really bold
To ventre out into this cold
The winter, well what a bummer
I cant wait for the Summer

Drifting ... gently,
within the winds of time.
Having known her loves sweet caresses,
they are forever mine.

Her hands,
her lips,
did love inspire,
her every grace my heart did fire.

As her eyes begin to sparkle,
my emotions start to glow,
as if to suddenly realise,
a self I didnt know.

Theres many kinds of love,
this we both agree,
But just the vibrancy of her heart, .....
