Yet laughing with him brings a tear

Gets along on this site with most
He's not one to brag or to boast

Apart from when he's talking chicks
Ones not enough the git had SIX !!

Sleep!

I cannot sleep, it's half past 4 in the morning,
I sit here frustrated and constantly yawning,
Why did i curiously turn on the tv?
Now i'm stuck listening to music on channel 3,
Contemplating how to kill the time, i'm not going to sleep soon,
I wonder if i open the shutters, will i find the moon?
If anyone finds me on the computer so early,
Their tone will not be happy, perhaps even surly,
What do people do up at thie time?
Because all i can think of is sitting here in rhyme,
Bored of my poem now, so i guess that i'll stop,
I wonder, is it innapropraite to iron some tops?

Cant sleep so here goes...

Insomnia

For three days now, I've laid up awake,
Hearing the birds cheep outside.
Suddenly I see, that day starts to break,
And my eyes are still open wide.

Huffing and puffing, I close my eyes tight,
And concentrate on being tired.
But from the corner of the curtain, there is such a light,
And my patience has really expired.

Trying to make my mind really blank,
I get all comfy and snug.
But half an hour later my heart's really sank,
I've got the insomnia bug.

Cars outside, with engines they roar,
And drunkards all staggering home.
I've had this sort of situation before,
And I just want to sleep all alone.

Ten minutes tick by, I daren't check the time,
For dissapointment is certainly sure.
I feel the fatigue on these old eyes of mine,
And I cant take much of this anymore.

But before long, it all goes quiet,
The darkness consumes all the air.
Its such a difference from the previous riot,
And I can now go to sleep if I dare.

The phone vibrates, theres voices outside,
My eyes open so very slow.
Its only when the haze seems to subside,
That I am so happy to know.

With hair all aloft, the breath smelling sweet,
I check the ol' time of the day.
Slowly I get out of bed to my feet,
To the bathroom, I do make my way.

The house is all quiet, theres no one around,
Because everybody is out and away.
Satisfaction brims, as I let out the sound,
I slept in and rested all day!!!

Bush And two shoes

Stand up proud
Tell the news
George bush has being,
Abused by shoes
One he dodge
Second he can't
Thought it was a game
Failed when it came to that

Super dude to throw such shoes
Bush nodes along
Well done you made the news
After it all he comes out unhurt
The children cry and clinch the dirt

Puma do not take the blame
Adidas said they don't play that game
Who is to blame we do not now

I don't write poems here that all too often
The answer is, as you will see,
That too many will put me into a coffin
And yes, I do pronounce "often" with a 't'
