New South Wales Police confirmed that 11 Celtic fans among the 19,482 crowd were arrested after jumping the fence and trying to run on to the pitch during the match at ANZ Stadium, where The Mariners beat Celtic, 1-0.
One male Celtic supporter was charged with assaulting police, while another man was charged with assault. The match was the opening game of the club's three-match pre-season tour of Australia.
A few drunken immigrants, watching their team in person for the first time in years (maybe, maybe not) and perhaps getting rather overexcited.
Good that McGregor and Whittaker have signed new deals along with Papac.

Is this cheap jabbing ever going to stop guys?
Regarding Rangers signings, they'll need all the short term, long terms loans or signings they can afford.

Hopefully Rangers will confirm later today the signing of the versatile midfielder Juan Manuel Ortiz (ex Athletico Madrid) currently with Almeria.
We still need a defender ..... come in Carlos Cuellar your time is up!

Who knows Dave, I hadn't done any cheap jabbing. I just came on to look at this forum and for someone to class my team as 'Scotland's shame' so therefore I questioned if he was for real, and did not retaliate

Both the Old Firm are Scotland's shame. A poisonous cancer of the highest order.
The worst bit is, although I find the majority of you that post on here unbiased (in respect to the non-footballing matters that is related to the OF) and good football fans you know it's true.

Religion, and those who pretend to support one OF team or the other to further their indoctrinated hatred is not Scotlands shame but the worlds shame.
All wars have been fought over race, religion or creed and the quicker that sectarian schools are closed, and everyone has to mix and leave religion for the church, the better. If I had it my way I'd close all religious buildings and outlaw it!

Rangers are leading the race to sign Australian internationist Mile Jedinak, who is available on a free transfer after leaving Turkish club Genclerbirligi earlier this summer.

It is not, indefensible. I'm just not going to put my 2 Cents in as it would just cause an arguement.

Hi guys, I'm still alive
Good transfer market for the Saints. Gary Teale and Steven Thompson are excellent signings for a side like us. Nigel Hasselbaink can cause problems for opposition defenders, Paul McGowan is meh, Graeme Smith is meh too.
Apparently we've been chasing Graham Carey for ages now, and we have a Dutch left back on trial. Compared to Danny Lennon's signings last season, this is a huge improvement

It's a step in the right direction for once!!!
Hopefully St Mirren can avoid a drop next season, their signings are hugely important for this.

Ally stated that the chance of Rangers managing to complete the signing of Mile was less than 50/50 even though he had been at Murray Park for a look round earlier this week. He has played the vast amount of Australia's games in the last 2 years and has a significant amount of options on the table (probably with far more money available). Would have been a great purchase!

Don't know Dave. You're getting excited over a past it striker who was overrated in the first place.
Teale could be a good signing. Graeme Smith is your best signing so far imo.

Scotland International Charlie Adam is on the verge of a move to Liverpool.
Overrated? Not in my opinion. This is a great move for him.

Best piece of news about CA joining Liverpool is the sell on clause that Rangers have. should help them get another loan signing if not help finance David Goodwillies transfer. I would hang fire in doing business with Dundee Utd until the sexual assault (r@pe) charge is resolved though!
