100% without a doubt 1 champ league spot and in danger of being punted into even earlier round for our champs because UEFA are hammering us with co-operative so need a good show next year with 1 champ league and 3 europa

Oh yeah, that was it Dave! was just thinking that yeah it was to get into the Quarters. Europa is more of a realistic target for all scottish clubs nowadays. Can't compete with world class european teams with budgets of ££££££m.

So today was the day, it all got decided, a helicopter watched Glasgow divided, now Celts out there don't be silly, we know the chopper is hovering by Killie, our thoughts should rest not with the league cup, but with the man who didn't give up, a bullet, a bomb, a punch to head, what's wrong with these people that Want him dead, so if the cup to Killie it is flown, know This Neil Lennon YOU DON'T WAlK ALONE.

Well put bunrzy.
All is not lost for Celtic, they can still claim the Scottish cup which is, by no means a diddy cup. Very important game.
I wish Motherwell good luck. As a non sectarian pure royal blue Rangers fan, i wish Celtic good luck for next week and for Europe next season.
Old firm alliance, let us show UEFA we can bring it!

Weiss wants to come back to Ibrox but Mancini apparently wants him to play in England or spain and won't let him leave for an SPL club as he doesn't rate SPL

This is disgraceful.
Who is he to decide? He's a manager not his parent!
Weiss can always refuse other offers just to get on his nerves. Would like to see him back at Ibrox. I'm glad he has a passion for the club and i'm pleased he wants another season.

Regardless of what Mancini thinks about scottish football, the problem for him would be he's a young player and not playing enough in the first team. The idea of putting someone out on loan would surely be to give them that first team experience.

Totally agree John!

he absolutely is!!
no way this boy will improve any skills he has playing the likes of st mirren , dunfermline , ( possibly raith rovers , cowdenbeath etc in the cup)
we may not like to admit it up here at times but our league is a joke tbh ( all our league is really for is the bragging rights between celtic and rangers) fact
half decent players only come here for a season or 2 to try to work their ticket down south or elsewhere

Well if Weiss wishes to stay at a club of his choice then that's up to him. Not his manager. There's plenty of examples of this too.
Motherwell v Celtic this weekend for the Scottish cup. I'd really like Motherwell grab this since they haven't in a long long time.
Predictions?

I would love Motherwell to win but my head is telling me its a Celtic win.
The longer it goes without a goal the more I would fancy Motherwell and they have been a spoiler to the old firm in recent times.
If i had to risk everything on a score though i would go 3-1 to Celtic.

Maybe it's the territorial in me but you could easily add Hearts and Celtic into the mix, still not good enough first team football for a player that hopes to have a future at the richest club in the world. Our league is far too slow, the fitness levels are no where near up to what it should be (our league champions have been playing a 40 year old and big fat hoodie who wouldn't look out of place on those fat camp programmes). There is no way he can progress playing up here.
If he was to come to East End Park then BMMMH would probably just end his career anyway.....with a shoulder barge!

Well Hearts, Celtic, Dundee Utd aren't exactly pushovers, as for the rest of the SPL, they aren't easy to beat. Teams need to put in effort to win matches, some of the above posts make it sound like Rangers and Celtic just walk through an away ground.
Would be nice to see some investment in the other teams, give a bit more of competition.
