OK this sounds rather worrying

Hope it's not too serious

Scottish football is becoming more and more of a joke. Read the other day that the poisonous Old Firm are at it again.
Disrupting the SPL with Rangers organising a friendly against Chelsea 3rd week of the season. Load of nonsense. Friendlies come around your domestic commitments not the other way round.
Hope there is a couple of leg breaks and ridiculous fixture congestion at some stage but then the OF no doubt will want moved to please them too and the SPL will just bend over.
OF - the cancer of Scottish football.

OF - the cancer of Scottish football.
Funny you mention that, because if it wasn't for the OF, the Scottish game would be as bad as the Irish league, or welsh league, both are equally terrible.
Can't live with them, can't live without them eh.

Sounds quite attractive to me. Back to a competitive league, all teams getting a fair deal and everything not always being swayed in the OF favour.
Long said, chuck out the OF, give the rest of the clubs 2 or 3 years warning and bring Scottish football back to junior level.
All the OF do is bring embarrasment and shame on our national game, this year more than most.

Well i do agree that it is incredibly boring now. Not much else can be said really. Perhaps a different rule for the OF say...a maximum of foreign players?
This would not only improve the Scottish game on a whole, it would also make it more competitive for the likes of reserve players and such.

Competitiveness for me takes a back seat.
The attitudes of the OF is what is harming our game. This season alone we have had manager's claiming some of the other teams try harder against them than any other team (so condescending and wrong), you would be laughed at had you watched a game and suggested another professional club had allowed the other to win in any other league. The sectarian chants and stance by the supporters of these clubs in every game. Even just the general behaviour, the recent game of Hearts v Celtic was just ridiculous. This thing with Rangers is a new one, putting themselves above other clubs making them work around them getting a money making day.
Imagine, I'd say Dunfermline but we'll use St Johnstone for an unbiased viewpoint, St Johnstone were due to have Rangers at McDiarmid that Saturday/Sunday, a game they'll look to have increased gates for. But the league have to say to them "Sorry boys, Rangers want to play Chelsea today, you can play midweek sometime in a couple of months.". Now it's fairly obvious that a midweek game does not attract as many fans as a weekend and St Johnstone miss out on revenue. That's my argument regarding that, not just this superior attitude that the OF have.
The OF is a clear cancer of our game, the football will be lesser standard, but the state of the game will be far healthier if they were to both get cut out of our league.

When you put it that way...it's hard to argue.

get cut out of our league ?
The OF are scottish teams and rightly so play in the SPL, yes as a Rangers fan I would love to see them move on to a bigger and better league but I can't see that happening so looks like your stuck with us.

I concede that that is a sad sorry truth.

Anyone heard any transfer rumours for their teams?
I heard that one of Ally McCoist's first signings could be Tomer Hemed
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/tomer-hemed/profil/spieler_112668.html
Also Kenny Miller wants to come back to Britain as he doesn't like Turkey. He hasn't ruled out a return to Rangers. Miller and Jelavic could be a very deadly partnership.

Miller linked up very well with Naismith and Whittaker last night in all fairness.
Rangers sold him for a pittence and to get him back 6 months later is going to cost a lot more, bad business sense.

It may well be bad business sense, but if he scores the goals that win us trophies then that's all that really matters, isn't it?

Hard to tell when the only guy who's opinion matters on whether it's good business or not has only been at the club a couple of weeks.
Depends how cheap they can get him, Rangers aren't in a great financial shape and Miller is on £40k a week at Bursaspor.
Miller return is very speculative, I'd be suprised.

I wouldn't mind seeing him back at Rangers, though this would be his 3rd spell at the club, says a lot about him really.
Miller knows he won't be on 40k a week at Rangers, but he's not enjoying Turkey.
Not sure if Miller is a money grabber or not, but the only way i don't want Miller back is if he is costing us more than what we sold him for. Then, it's bad business indeed.
Good signings for Hearts this week, with Hamill and Sutton and someone i don't remember.

Haha, there we have it then. Craig Whyte plays funkypool and his username is onevisit.
It's Danny Grainger the other one Dave. Diamond is just a rumour, nothing to see there as yet.
Sutton and Hammill are good signings on free transfers.

Mr Whyte could be the world richest man but if you hear it straight from the horses mouth he is not interested then there is nothing anyone from Rangers can do.

If he's not going back...? Thought he wanted to?
I've heard Nacho Novo and Kevin Thomson want back also. Thomson can come back, but Novo i think is past it now. Besides, we have better players now, i'd rate Wylde higher than Novo.
Addition: Rangers have signed twins, Norwegian brothers Tom and Kim Skogsrud, from Manchester City. Both 18. Also Blackpools David Vaughan has shown interest to play for Rangers.
