Manwee do NOT even start...

This is a good debate and chat thread, i point blank refuse to see what/why/who sent bullets to whoever, and don't you dare question their support. As far as i'm concerned they are extreme loyalists, and do not support ANY team and it shall be left as such on THIS FORUM. If you have a problem with this please feel free to message me.

NOTE:
Just for the record for everyone else on this forum, i will not tolerate and protestant/catholic/loyalist/extremist/bigoted/sectarian posts from anyone. This is a FOOTBALL chat for Scottish football open to ALL teams from Premier to Highland league.

Thank you.

"We as a club have nothing to reproach ourselves for - whether it be the board, the fans or the players. They've dealt with a lot of issues with great dignity."

Really? Lets take a look at the so-called dignity this season

Questioning referee's integrity and having a major part to play in the strike

Overly aggressive towards other Managers and officials and causing fights

Anti-poppy banners

Questioning integrity of other teams and claiming they only try against Celtic

Singing IRA songs throughout the ENTIRE Hearts match and rioting in the Roseburn Stand

Dignity? I think not. Beyond reproach? definately not.

anti poppy banners are not illegal and neither is singing political songs ( although they have absolutely no place at any football ground)

as for dignity son... glasgow r#ngers are the only club ( certainly in scotland) and most probably in britain to have a sectarian signing policy ( and yeah....we know a few slipped through the net) and as for DIGNITY

your next manager sally ( now please , please try and correct me on this....will be funny if you do) but he was a regular attender alongside the goram in east belfast at UDA fundraising events for many years

DIGGGINNITY ...your lot could not spell it

as for the rioting and damage done to the celtic shop in argyle street if its not reported in the daily RAGS tomorrow it will be freely available for all to view on the internet

Didn't you read mr_mcquistion's post? No references to sectarianism or extremist/loyalist groups.

What I mentioned was all about stuff that has happened inside football grounds this season.

So you say Rangers have no dignity for what they have or have not attended years ago but I used to have to wear nappies. I dont any more. Everyones comments are about the CURRENT attitude of the clubs and as a non old firm team supporter, can't say Rangers as a club have done a lot wrong at all this season. Their fans have been punished for their stupidity and I hope lessons are learnt!

As a point though your attitude of .. but but but they have no dignity sir is very much backward thinking. Cletic should put their hands up and say our bad!!!

Two wrongs do not make a right.

Look, say what you wish about whoever, Walter Smith ADMITTED singing these songs. Just like theres video evidence of Lennon being sectarian...

Enough, this is football chat not political belief chat.
Thanks.

Has anyone heard any more news about the SPL reform? Last I heard Dundee United chairman, amongst others, were still against a 10 team league.

i for one wish the likes of hearts , abedeen , dundee utd , hibs etc were on a more level playing field to the old firm which would make our league much more exciting

i remember united and aberdeen used to beat us on a regular basis ( although hated it at the time) i wish someone would invest serious money in these clubs

I am very biased of course but truly believe, if we dont have major injury issues, hearts will be a lot closer next year, not suggesting we will win the league but a lot closer.

As for the reform, its a joke. SFA and SPL have run out of ideas so we will just revert back to the old plan. This wasnt good enough in the first place hence the change. I hope the reform as it stands keeps getting voted out and we hear the end of this un imaginative idea.

I would like to see the SPL a bit closer.

Perhaps merging Premier and Division 1 could resolve this? It could mix up the playing field a bit more with the smaller teams looking for an upset.

IMO - when they put the minimum amount of Scottish players per team, this was a way of them trying to equal Rangers and Celtic down to the rest. I think they should further tighten this as it will not only make the old firm more competitive but would improve the Scottish football game.

I agree that we should have more teams in the Premier League, maybe 16 or 18?

We do need more Scottish players in our teams. It will not only help at club level, but also at international level.

As far as i'm aware there are 4...

1st gets champions league automatically
2nd gets europa
3rd gets europa

Scottish cup winner gets champions league qualification match. So which means Celtic and Motherwell will get european football alongside Hearts and Rangers.

No, I think its only 1 UEFA Champions league spot this year Dave. As they took off one place as Scottish teams have been extremely poor in the tournament, but it's back to two next year.

Scottish cup is Europa. Well, I'm not 100% - Just like mr_mcquiston

Yeah, they only changed it this season so, you would expect it to be the same! Indeed, 2007 Champions League Celtic got to Quarter final I think it was then were beat by AC Milan in extra time Kaka 122nd minute, nutmegged Boruc.
