Terrible game tonight, Referee was whistle happy, got really fed up of him tonight, Celtic caught diving plenty of times and gers players being booked for it!!!

Watch the highlights on the BBC website. You can clearly see Lennon saying something towards Diouf and shortly after that the Celtic coaching staff turn to him with shocked expressions on their faces. You don't need to be a good lip reader to work out what was said.

Lennon has a 6 game ban over him, which he has the cheek to appeal, and last night he showed his true colours, utter scumbag.

I'm hearing from a number of sources that Lennon's ban has been reduced to 4 games.

I am a full on Rangers fan no surrender and all that but that game was dissapointing from Rangers & Celtic, we were outplayed again, and players just showed there anger with stupid fouls and tackles. Diouff i like him and dislike him.

Lennon & Ally, well i watched and watched again and to me Lennon is out of order, he appeals his ban thats just stupid 6 match ban or 4 match he deserves it anyway, he was part of too many old firm games before and to be made manager and go through them is stupid he will always have that raw fight about him and old firm and has to learn to keep his mouth shut.

Completely agree with you Jay. I believe that this would be the only way to shake some sense into the clubs and the mindless morons who cause so much trouble at the games. Deprive the fans of their football and deprive the clubs of their revenue. They'll have to learn the hard way that this sort of behaviour won't be tolerated.

Yeah sorry Nath but i agree with Smurftastic on this one, even if it goes behind closed doors, they could always put it on TV still as the fans who are loyal and stuff will still get to see the game and maybe if they hold a season ticket they get it free off whatever channel is showing the coverage. Some spanish teams and TV people have doen this before i am sure.

Playing Saints at home is hard enough as it is, but with a team full of injuries and tired players (which no-one can say they are not) we are bound to lose this game.

Neil Lennon is now banned for 8 games. 4 match ban for his antics at the Old Firm game to add to the 4 he got at his appeal. Could be even more once the SFA receive the Referee's report and if they then decide to take further action.

I think 8 games is enough IMO, maybe a fine for the rest if they do decide further action
