Maybe they left because they knew they'd won, therefore getting very bored. I know i would if we were winning by such a margin. More drink time.

The Scottish cup isn't a thing someone forgets about you know, i think you underestimate how badly we want it, we need europe next season!

I hope our win today has sent shivvers down Falkirk and Dunfermlines backs.

Hope they enjoy hampden tomorrow.

At the end of the day, football is about goals scored. If you know you've won, surely you want to stay knowing you may see another few goals? I've never seen such a percentage of fans leave 70, 80 minutes of a game gone, not even from the losing side.

Your Europe comment makes no sense - you are second in the league after all, I highly doubt you'll drop to 5th or 6th

My comment about the Cup - I just feel that the 40 other clubs in Scotland would love to win it, especially the other 10 in the SPL. After all, none of us have a hope of winning the SPL due to Old Firm dominance, so the Scottish Cup is our only remaining hope (with the League Cup being seeded and played on weekdays, it makes it more difficult than the Scottish Cup). It's our main chance of a trophy, unless we decide to get relegated. But some Old Firm fans don't give a care about it, even today the atmosphere in the Rangers areas was just dreadful.

Anyway, Rangers have pretty much got the cup now. I wouldn't mind seeing Falkirk in the final - half the time the runners up end up relegated, which works out for us

I'm not long to walk out door.

I don't know what i want more, another trip to Hampden at end of May or F*lk*rk not there, relegated and no income coming from Europa League (or whatever they've called it). Luckily if we win I get both, losing is unthinkable lol.

Jeeez I hate Falkirk lmao! I saw a falkirk related username on here or snooks a few weeks ago, can't really remember now.

Anyway my prediction for Hampden this afternoon.....

Looks like it's a Rangers win, which kind of states the obvious.

Great to see Andy Dorman get another Player Of The Month. He's going to be a crucial player for our final few games.

Pedro Mendes is a disgrace. The report in "The Sun" says how Pedro thinks if his foot was on the ground it would be a leg-breaker. Which makes no sense as the ball was at waist height. It's funny how Mendes may be available for Saturday, and Will Haining is a doubt. It was Mendes who came in high and late on Haining, Will did nothing wrong.

And if Pedro thinks he had it bad, he better take a look at this:

http://pa.photoshelter.com/c/willievass/gallery-img-show/250409-Rangers-v-St-Mirren-Scottish-Cup-S-F/G0000pc28faiBu68/?_bqG=14&_bqH=eJzLzMzO1TUvMw4wMPHMikzOTHE19PWoNMsOCwq1MjazMjWwsnKP93SxdTcAgoJkI4u0xEynUjMLtQCQqJq7Z7y7o4.Pa1AkNkUADhQbDw--

Steven Smith could have broken Steven Thomson's leg. The photo shows how Thomson's ankle is bending, and how Smith's studs are about to connect at speed with Thomson's leg.

I liked Mendes when he was at Portsmouth. But I have no respect for him now. He is a disgrace, and a diving cheat..

Split time!

St Mirren have major problems, up to 10 of our players are out injured.

First off, our long term injuries from a while ago: Franco Miranda, Steven Robb, Chris Smith, Tom Brighton and Steven O'Donnell. Out of the 5, only Miranda and Robb are first team players, but it left us short on the left flank.

Now, all our recent ones. Craig Dargo took an injury shortly before the semi final last week. A first team player alongside Mehmet, so a loss.

Will Haining and Steven Thomson picked up injuries in the semi (Pedro Mendes seems to have ignored this). Thomson was a starting 11 pick, and Haining just got back into the side the week before. Another 2 losses.

Now, a further two players have picked up injuries, Scott Cuthbert and Hugh Murray. Cuthbert is our first choice centre back, and Murray a first team midfielder.

So the real losses - Miranda, Cuthbert, Haining, Robb, Murray, Thomson and Dargo. Seven players who would probably be in the first team this week if they weren't injured.

Massive problems going into the final games, hopefully we can hold out.

I think we are going down now

If we don't win at Killie on Wednesday it's back to the diddy leagues for us.

Hope you beat Killie - they don't deserve to stay in the premier league.

It'll be a brutal game. Two sides with one league win apiece in 2009, and if there is a loser in this one, it's bye-bye SPL for them. The main thing is we really need a performance here, and we need the fans to get behind the team. We need to do whatever it takes to get the win.

To be honest, St Mirren deserve to be in the SPL, unlike Inverness or Kilmarnock.
