Golf was indeed played in season one- personally im with smithbit on this one- im not that good at golf so i dont care whether we have it or not. Basically Nax wants to run a league that will be as successful as possible so is asking everybody wahat theyd prefer. I imagine Nax will count the for and against on this thread and then make a decision so make your voice heard, whatever your opinion....

about 80% of messages received so far say have golf, there's no harm in having it. Can the next 23 hours or so turn things the other way? Only time will tell!

It seems that I have received more votes for golf, than not.

I will add golf back at 6pm as long as the situation doesn't change.
If I add golf back, even though you may not like it, will you still play it?

If the only reason for not playing is you don't want any golf stats on your username, you are quite welcome to join the league as a different name.

Either way, if you could let me know, that will help.

Oh, could I also please remind all users about cheating. We have received many 'false' results the last couple of days. If any more false results are received, 10 points will be deducted from the person who posted.

Just a quick update on the golf issue:

Out of 16 votes, the results are 8 / 8. This means it is not easy to make a decision as important as this one for the league.

I will try and arrange a meeting with my updater team this evening. Hopefully a decision will be made after the meeting.

Any updates will be posted on here and the league website.

Sorry for the delays. I have now accepted the results

The results will be accepted quicker and quicker as we go through the league.

The problem is, the first week of the season, I'm working on the league website quite a bit and doing a lot of web programming, to ensure the league runs as smooth as possible.

I have now added sporting as an updater, so there's now more of us to update results - should be a bit quicker!

Whats happening with this League then?

Waiting for an updater to login and give me his view on golf, but it seems we are all up for reinstating golf.

There are a couple of users who may not like it and feel so strong that they are going to resign from the league, but one says he/she may play as a different name :)

Apart from those two, everyone (even though they may not be 100% keen) will still take part and it means the league will be a one-of-it's kind again!

As you may or may not know, I do not wish to change the league without first having the thumbs up by the members of the updater team. Even though I'm the founder of the league, I feel my updaters have as much of a right to manage the league as I do. I have had thumbs up from all updaters apart from 2, but If I hear from 1 more, that's covered more than half of the updaters..

As I say, it's looking promising golf will return.

The final decision was supposed to be tonight, but due to updater inactivity, it has been postponed until tomorrow.

A 3v0 win for me is what is right according to the rules

No- it is in the rules, your right there- we just rely on people doing a bit of give and take.
If he said before the games he was in the tourny and would be leaving when he got invite then thats fine. If he just leaves, ignores you or whatever then thats different.
Ill confirm that result now, but just try to figure out whether either of you will have to leave before you start playing next time as so to avoid this happening.
