Hi all.

Many of you may remember, a couple of years ago, I used to host leagues and ladders on both Funkypool and the Original Poolsharks (poolgame).

I am thinking of starting up a league again, but would like to know how many would be interested before starting it.

If you would be interested, please leave a note in this thread.

Not sure about the game type yet, would most likely be a mixture of all, or one particular if everyone requests for just one game type.

What would you all prefer? A combination of different game types or just one game type?

I will create the website before the league starts, so it won't start before next week.

I have decided how this league will work (It may change in the future depending on feedback received).

There will be 2 games of each game type (1 with each person hosting).

UK 8 Ball = First to 3 (Best of 5). x2
US 8 Ball = First to 3 (Best of 5). x2
US 9 Ball = First to 3 (Best of 5). x2
Mini Golf = 1 full game (all 9 holes). x2

Scoring
Win = 3 points
Draw = 2 points
Loss = 1 point

There will be 4 divisions, the top two of each division (except 1) will get promoted at the end of the season, while the bottom 2 will get relegated.

More details will be included on the website once signups are open.

I will be opening sign ups tonight and will post a link shortly. The league will start next Saturday (5th January).

Is everyone happy with this? Are there any queries?

second match, player2 hosts.
