why did the deadline change from firday to wednesday?

From messages i was sent people said they want the tourny completed within 2 weeks as they were away over the new year. Therefore the dates changed to complete within two weeks. Now less than half have played so the tourny cannot continue. Sorry to those who have played as i think people signed up who were not entirely interested in playing or completing. So can a moderator please end this forum.
