katie_bug has joined and jason1998 has dropped out so more members are still needed. If there are not enough members by Sunday the tourny will still begin on Monday and i will reduce the number of groups.

Can everyone in the tourny please send me a message to state your location and/or preferred time to play as i think we will have to have european, american and asian based groups to start due to the times. After the first round i will draw the groups and then sort out the times depending on each game. i.e two american players should not have to play at 7pm gmt. The event will still be seeded but i will need to know numbers of each location.

im keen to play but i live on other side of the world to most of u guys so i'll have to sort sumthin out with the times lol

Once we have 32 players i will sort out about splitting the groups to suit everyone. It will still be ranked but i will try and make it as easy as possible with times. I will do this on Friday and then any extras will have to fit in.

Nathyboy and Mozzimo have joined so we still need 9 more players. Below is the current rankings as at so point over th last day or so with your home nation. Looking at it we need some higher ranked American timed players and lower ranked Asian timed players to make it fair. If not we will end up with an impossible group with three top seeds in the Asian group and and American group with four third seeds. Please if you know anyone to fit this please ask them.

Just a thought-

Why not determine seeding based on maximum rank rather than current rank. That way if someone who is a first seed drops down to 760 then they would still be a first seed rather than you having to upodate that table all the time up until the tournament starts

It is a good idea but i think it will give a more upto date reflection and it would be unfair to change the rules now. I may consider it in the next tourny if all goes well as planned.

Anyone got any ideas about grouping with the times because we do want the best players which includes other parts of the world.

why not try and get people to set times to play each other when they will both be around through you. that way if someone doesnt turn up then the person who does turn up can message you that they are there and their opponent failed to show and after two or three no shows you can award the game to the other player
