I think you are right there. I will announce the final rules tomorrow and the tourny may have to last a month or so. Can i have some more opinions please. Maybe we can play the first round starting Monday until Friday and then have a break for Christmas. The week after we can start the next round and the knockouts another week later.

Would everyone comply with this.

Dont have a break for xmas as people will lose interest if it drags on too long- see many of the threads below

why not start it on monday and make a rule that the group games must be finished by a certain date and that the following rounds will be played between <insert date> and <insert date> etc etc.

Again though this is just a thought- if you wanna risk a christmas break then go ahead- good luck lol

I am not sure if people will lose interest because who seriously would want to play over Christmas. How about the first group must be played on Monday and Wednesday at anytime decided by the players. Second groups on Thursday to Sunday and the knockouts on spcifed dates. Once a game is played the players can send me the result so i can update the tables. It would be upto players to decide on a time. If there is a problem they with finding the player they must contact me before the end of the second day of play with the times that they were online and a copy of the message they sent the player. If they and i cannot contact that player before 1000am gmt on the final day they will lose the game. Alternatively if the players cannot agree on a time the game will end as a loss to both players but 1 point can be awarded as a bonus point if a valid attempt was made. I will think about it and publish the rules tomorrow. Anymore ideas welcome.

I have posted the final rules and times on http://9ballpool.page.tl and the tourny begins on Monday lasting two weeks. There will be a gap at Christmas for a few days either side. Any problems please contact me asap. The draw will be made on Sunday evening and i will need everyone to confirm their place by sending me a message before Monday or you will not be included. And we still need 6 players so please ask.
