Today

Now then, let me see, what has gone on here today
While I've been at work, and you've been at play
Ive decided to watch, as I sit here and linger
Staying well clear, of erdez's finger

The usual people, have been there and about
Even My Paula , the smelly old trout
Steph has been here, pulled a sickie off work
And even Ben, the king of the shirk

John has popped in, looking for goss
Driver's deleted, now there is a loss
No sign of Ste, Now where is that fella
No doubt at the barbers, getting treated by Wella

Now my phone is going, I've just missed a caller
But that can wait, I'm composing for Paula
She demanded a poem, and that's why I'm here
Just to make her smile, and give her some cheer

Now I've settled in, for the rest of the night
The dog has been fed, he's now having a bite
Well that is my day, in a small nutshell
Good evening to all, I hope your all well.

To miss u like crazy seems almost surreal,
I wrote you a poem to say how I feel,
Ive smiled since we chatted the very first day,
To make me feel special is always your way,
An email, a message a simple hello,
How much they delight me u will never know,
We'll meet hun, quite soon of that im so sure,
Cause the love that I feel seems so very pure,
I hope that today has been one of the best,
So far would say homer simpson, u know the rest,
I need u, I want u, I'll do all I can,
To live up to the billing of ure fairytale man!!!

Great peom war, we want more from you mate!

When you brushed past my way, I felt a chill,
A cold one that made me stand so very still.
It wasn't the wind for the sun shone bright,
And the day was so early - so far away from night.
A smell lingered in the air, a scent so nice,
It had a hint of a flower, a hint of some spice.
Perfume no doubt, then the wind came from the north,
Hit me in the back, and pushed my heart forth.
I took a slow step, towards your direction,
And I stopped to admire, your beautiful complexion.
As each heart beat went by, my excitement grew,
I long just to speak out - if you only knew!
The rain came down, and I stood on that spot,
For yor eleagant presence still kept me hot.
I floated on air, the rest of the way,
Now I cant help but think of you all day.
Still we haven't spoke, you dont know how I feel,
But I can assure you that this love is real.
I long to speak to you, just once in this time,
And I still dream of the day when you will be mine.

Ding ding dong here's another bit of script,
I've just had a vision that I must depict.
About a cosy night in, with the fire on low,
Me telling a gorgeous brunette that I love her so.
She takes off her jacket, and loosens her hair,
My mouth drops open and my eyes do stare.
I hold out her hands,and put them in mine,
The grandfather clock strikes once for half-past nine.
The flames in the fire flicker, the candles all burn,
I hold my voice steady, and I speak slow and firm.
The movie plays softly, a horror film I think,
I take out the chocolates and pour her a drink.
Then its a cuddle up in front of the fire,
It's not late enough for us both to retire.
My hand holds hers as mine cradles her close,
I dont explain my affection as she already knows.
She looks up to my eyes, the deep brown eyes of mine,
In the candle light and darkness she looks mighty fine.
A very special night we spent, the vision now goes,
Hopefully I'll dream this tonight, when my eyes close.

no need to rush, no need for haste
