David Beckham is imo the most overrated player to have ever stuck an england shirt on.
He's is undoubtedly amazing at distribution of the ball.
It's just every other aspect of the game that he's severely lacking in.
At least since coming back from McClaren dumping him out the squad he now puts some effort in
Only game I remember anything from him was when we drew with Greece...an that was a long time ago.

Becks has carried england on his own at some points- id agree hes past his best but to say he is the most overrated player to pull on an england shirt is an insult to wes brown and darren bent

I'm not his biggest fan, but when ever England were playing awful I thought he was always there, trying to lift them, playing his heart out. A little how Rooney does now! And I'd never say he's the worse to pull on an England shirt......
Personally I think it's a case of the team having to move on cause he is now too old and not needed!

David Beckham plays and he almost always has a assist to a goal in that match,he's very important for england,if he didin't move clubs so much he could be one of the best players in the world,should have stayed in england

stephan pearson was a great player untill he went to celtic and got benched.
same things gonna happen to riordan aswell its quite sad really because he should be in his prime but now he's training with the under 19's.
