You can't say Owen is over-rated! He's proven himself. His injuries can't make him over-rated. Rio Ferdinand is no way over rated! Look at the success he has had at Utd.

Rio is overrated (this is coming from a United fan). He costs United more goals than any other United defender. He's a good ball winner and he's good in the air, but his marking is terrible at times (FA cup final is an example that springs to mind). Don't get me wrong, he's excellent at his best, he just suffers from lapses in concentration far too often for a supposedly world class central defender.

Evra is also overrated. He's good going forward, but useless at defending (the main priority for a defender). He gets bullied off the ball far too easily, and his awareness of what's happening around him isn't that great. Either Fergie needs Heinze to stay and return to his previous form, or he needs to buy another left back.

yea its hard to tell who put left back for united between heinze and evra,both have there up and down moments,id probably put heinze in because his all round play.

i dont think players like torres and nugent should be called overated,they havent even started in the premeirship yet,i doubt both players will have a bad season either,agree with players like schevchenko,ballack,lampard,rio maybe.

I think ronaldhinio is over-rated!

I think he is also, like to see him try them tricks in the premiership, a fast paced aggressive league unlike la liga.
