I personally would prefer both to finish at different times but the main point is as long as the fixtures are released different weeks, it doesn't matter what stage of each leagues season it is.
Main problem is with players leaving clans. If you leave the clan for one league between seasons, you'll be leaving the clan in the middle of the other league's season, which kind of sucks.

My and only my personal choice would be I highly recommend not having such a long break. This is the flagship and best league. The seasons HAVE to run pretty soon after each other to keep up interest and attract new folk.
I am so against the idea of a break i would happily help out in the league any way possible to ensure continuity!

You could join the leagues to make 1, 9 players, 5 play FCL and 4 play 6 games of either game type and theres also killer from FBL

In an ideal world both would run at the same time but there is nothing to say that you cant play for one team in FCL and another in FBL. It worked well for us in Divine Forces last seasons.
In response to ab_rfc I like the different formats and would like to continue both as they are. I wouldn;t want to play one format every two weeks. Give me as many games as possible!!! lol

I don't think you totally get it mate, 80% of members wanted the FCL releases one week then week after the FBL releases and they want this next season.
The schedule been written up would mean a six week break instead of an eight week break, take into account that about three weeks of that is pre season, transfer window and admin side of things.

Of course the mini league would be run by another runner maybe make it unique in some way to add interest

I have now been sent the schedule which could and is about the only way to do things next season (I will also post the FBL one so you get a better understanding of it all).
Mattywellie i hope you read this soon as this is the only way to really do it pal. Also please note next season will tie in with christmas so a further week has been added to a fixture for that. This is an example schedule and would change if there was less fixture sets.

Mickey Mouse is 5 v 5, this is 9 v 9 and killer, you could also go back to having one Division and give out 3 fixtures every 2 weeks so the season doesnt last too long.
I see someone suggested adding a Mini to the Mickey we already have lol

The schedule that has been produced actually doesn't leave much of a break if you look at it as FCL & FBL rather than just the leagues individually

Righto then my posts are valid, hence i've read them all.
I'll ask again who said they need to start and finish at the same time. I encourage a vote of the captains and let them decide.
tokko it was asked by numerous people that the FCL and FBL ran "side by side" but releasing the fixtures on alternating weeks. FBL runs slightly longer than FCL so FCL needs to wait for FBL to finish so we can start the leagues "side by side" again
I'll ask again who said they need to start and finish at the same time. I encourage a vote of the captains and let them decide.
