Your post is not valid as it has never been said they should run and end at the same time! I gave the idea a day or so ago and it was decided not to.

No one said they "need" to start at the same time but a fair number of players asked if it was possible to run them together to create the alternating fixture releases. I think we had a discussion on here ages ago and it was agreed that the schedules will be written together to account for this.

Since the runners of FCL are now also involved in FBL it makes even more sense for us to create schedules to suit this

Where's the problem with that schedule?

How did 2 months wait come into this or have you solved the problem?

Why two weeks admin work? What work is there sorry? Updating the site! Give me instructions and i'll do it in a coupe of hours for you.

FCL season ends on the 26th august and the new season will start proper mid-late october, that is nearly a 2month break

Problem is solved, some weeks on that schedule like the admin side would need some amount of work doing though but it is very manageable

Thats why i said on earlier post it is down to a six week wait now but that is to be expected due to the pre season mainly.

pre-season friendlies are before that, those are games too lol. It looks like only a few weeks off (and if the decide they need less time for admin, then it would be even less). This isn't so bad.

Tokko - It is admin work between the transfer window and all the pre season stuff. It is needed.

My first post had the pre season dates and everything mixed in with it so two months is not actually two months, glad someone gets it now and thinks that though.

To be honest with ya seb i dunno what the problem with this break is?

Im pretty sure man utd (or any other football fan) creates that the Prem, championship, League 1, League 2 (or other foreign leagues) as a 2 month break between seasons

Just sat and worked out a schedule that is more than capable of getting done what exactly do you want for the league to be up and running a week after it just finished? Get real Haha

So basically you ask for people's opinions on something you have already decided. Why do we all bother.

Pretty sure they don't have an issue with attracting players to play as well!

Again the less break the better for me.

Why have 1 week transfer window when players can move freely during preseason anyway ?

Transfer window should be from the 13th August until the team lists are handed in for the pre- season games.

Its not even been decided to go with that schedule, if you read properly you would see the word "Possible" above each one. Instead of trying to make something out of nothing read what is said first man.
