They (almost) all signed conditionally, because Max Mosley said they would talk about the cap and phasing it in. But the talks didn't work out, so most of the teams are looking likely to pull out

Danica drove Cart (a.k.a Indy car) though, not F1.
While that is in many ways a far more interesting racing class than F1, have no illusions - it's a mile away in terms of level.

The 8 teams in FOTA are 100% breaking away from f1 next year and forming their own series. They say they will keep old sponsors etc. And ticket prices will be cheaper
Im hoping the meeting for next years regulations goes something like...
"So gentlemen, turbos?"

Well, for the time being, consider it a threat - not something that is at all likely to happen.
Give it a few more weeks and the old midget will have no choice but to yield.

Either yield or you lose your business.
Simple as that Ecclestone/mosely

I hope the breakaway goes through, so they can shove it back into Ecclestone/mosely face.

I don't, because they are right in one thing: I would ruin the sport - both for the remaining parts of F1 as well as the ones starting something new.
I rather hope they back down - I also think that would be an even greater defeat for Bernie - which would be a nice bonus too.
One has to wonder... what part of human nature or human relations is it that makes it possible for people like him to float to the top of the mound?

I just want the F1 to come back to Adelaide, that one was heaps better than the Melbourne one!!
If all teams stay together are the three new teams still going to be in the grid next year, if so that is a lot of teams!

Yes, I believe the plan was for 13-14 teams next season.
Hard to say now anymore though, with this massive power-struggle going on.

Be interesting tomorrow. Meant to be really hot, which will suit the Brawns apparently....
I obviously want Button to win, however I think it's going to be extremely hard for him. If not him then I'd like to see Webber, perhaps one of the more unlucky drivers in F1, to take his home away from home Gran Prix!
Mosely is the biggest plonker there. Talking about Donnington the way he does, he's an idiot. They have a contract with Donnington to hold a race there next year but insists on saying it's going to be at Silverstone. It's ignorance like his that ruins the sport - backstabbing ignoramus! If I was the boss/shareholdersd at Donnington I'd be asking him a few questons, first and foremost, what are you playing at??
I might just go to Donnington if I have the money next year, beings I only live 20 minutes down the road to it, coiuld even get myself a weekend ticket as soon as I've seen how much they are!! Anyone up for it??
(Assuming F1 still exists)

I would be up for it John, might go to the BTCC meeting there too.
Was planning on the BTCC visit as it is cheap, will consider the F1 pending on funds and if F1 exists. lol
