You kidding me? I doubt the great Hamilton himself could of pulled of what Kovalainen did. He was outstanding! *Shakes head in dis-belief* always got a good rive from him, not much more a team can ask for.

Agreed Tally, Kovalainen only got his ride there 'cos Hamilton asked McClaren to get him. Button should be there.

He reminds me of Tim Henman, a potential champ that never made it...

Nobody would win the Championship in the bangers hes been in, compared to McClaren, Renault and Ferrari.

Button is in my opinion, one of the best all round racing drivers in F1. Shame he's not been given the chance in any of the big teams.

I think it's easy for any lamen to decide who's good enough, or not. However, I trust the judgement of the team, if they think he's good enough, then I'm guessing he's good enough.

Well said fella! I am British and probably biased but Button is great and has been very unlucky in with his ride but with his level of skill definately a top 5 or 6 driver

Kovalainen was Hamilton's second choice. He wanted Nico Rosberg originally but Williams wouldn't let him go. Anyway Kimi Raikonen for title number 2.

Naa he was lucky last season he stole the title, not convicing at all, Hamilton undoubtedly

Will be interesting to see how lack of traction control etc. affects things this year.

As for predictions, I'm waiting til I see how quick the cars are first. Hopefully BMW and/or Renault can challenge McLaren and Ferrari a bit more.

Anyway, it's not in China. They added an 18th race around the streets of Singapore. A night race on a street circuit. Can't wait.

There's another new street race this year too. The Nurburgring has been replaced by Valencia as the venue for the European GP.

Haha. I know mate. This is one of the rare occasions I wasn't actually taking the mick.

And I hope Melbourne does lose the Australian GP. That circuit is probably the most boring on the entire calendar (along with the new Hockenheim). I'm hoping they give it back to Adelaide. Can't see it happening though to be honest.

EDIT: Actually, it would be interesting to see a race at Bathurst... the only problem with that might be safety.
