Ha, I have a solution!! (If I read the riddle right lol)
So the guy gave one to the robber, and as the robber crossed the bridge, the guy called the cops and they caught the robber, and the guy was able to pin his crime on the robber and walk away with the other gold bar.

He threw both gold bars onto the bridge. It would therefore be impossible for anyone - any adult anyhow - to steal the bars as the combined weight would bring the bridge down. The man can therefore now take on the robber. Later a child or some device is used to retrieve the gold.

Lol - Nice everyone!
But I'm afraid ajmb92 got it...He juggled with the bars (Soo baad)
Lets try another...
A window washer was washing windows on a high-rise office building when he slipped and fell off a 60 foot ladder onto the concrete pavement below. Incredibly, he did not injure himself. How is this possible?

Because he was standing on one of the lower rungs of the ladder washing a window on the first floor and only fell a short distance

A person has a box of socks containing 24 red socks, and 24 green socks. Since the the box is in pitch black darkness, what is the smallest number of socks this person has to remove before being certain of getting 2 socks of different colours?
and
There is a cage at a zoo that contains peacocks and pigs. If there is a total of 30 eyes and 44 feet, how many of each animal are in the cage?

None. Peacocks have claws and talons (not sure of the bird word for feet lol) and pigs have hooves.
OR
None, because who the heck would put peacocks and pigs in a cage together???

2 socks of different colours, they would have to remove 25, though how they would then work out which was the odd one out would be interesting to see. MAybe different colours smell different?

I've got one:
A man goes into a cave (somewhere cold) haha, and he discovers 2 naked bodies frozen in a block of ice, he rubs the surface and peers inside. "i've found Adam and Eve" he shouts.
How does he know they are Adam and Eve??
