I shouldn't listen to what hollywood and Mel Gibson says! There's very little historical fact in that film. Also it portrays Wallace as a nice human who was full of humanity, when in actual fact he was both a murderous bullying rapist and a savage, or so the history channel suggests, which could be run by Englishmen!

I think that England will attempt to hold a 1-0 lead for around 70 mins, and then slip to a 1-1 draw.

It's standard England procedure over the last six years, and it works well...if the plan is to dismally underachieve and lose.

Ah well, at least we don't have to follow Scotland. They've had a bit of a miserable 130 years or so.

I see they beat Georgia today. It's nice that UEFA and FIFA still let the minnows play each other in the big tournaments. In all fairness they should really be playing in something like a sort of 'Freight Rover Trophy' 'B' tournament.

I'm not knocking Scotland. I'm saying it would be nice for teams like that to stand a chance of winning something.

So a sort of 'B' World Cup for teams like The Faroes, San Marino, Malawi, Vietnam and Scotland would be a good idea.

I'm all for the progression of Scottish football. I also think that Rangers & Celtic should come and play in England.
They could provide a relatively minor boost to the GM Vauxhall Conference, and I can see them being good mid-table sides.

So Stevo, no animosity. I'm not knocking third-rate footballing backwater nations...rather just trying to help you make your mark and get yourself noticed in places like Congo.
