The quote facility is the worst new feature on this site.

It only takes a lunatic to get hold of it and suddenly it's a weapon.

I've just tried to read your quote-within-a-quote-with-added-quotes spinner, and now I fully realise why they won't let you live on the mainland.

Edit - oh yeah - I think we SHOULD have visible rank on the game menu. It's just an added convenience - it doesn't hurt.

Couldn't a compromise be to just have the players rank visible, but not have the enforced restriction?

Since that leaves everyone with the choice to enter any room they want, but lets the picky people be, well, picky!

I wouldn't see many problems with this update (well, not 3 thread pages-worth of problems anyway). Couldn't hurt in my opinion.

Some people were uncertain when the new 8ball and 9ball games were imminent, both games turned out to be hits though. Who knows....Maybe this update would be just as popular.

I dont think one persons opinion after a few games comparedto the other almost 70000 who dont need this really means they've won.. but anyways!

Please lets try to keep this on subject, i've already said there is a compromise. No-one has argued with the obvious problems restrictions on who can enter a game will cause to the ranking system.

As i have already suggested, why not have a compromise and introduce the rank display only. So the picky people can choose and the normal people can carry on.

Since the reason for restricted games is for people looking for a challenge as opposed to playing for rank, again as i've already suggested why not inroduce it as an option for friendlies.

Improvements must be simply that, improvements.

Argments are never won, they are agreed...

But anyways, if you actually took the time to read my posts you will see i have offered many compromises which provide the same thing asked for without infringing on peoples rights to play whoever they want.

Remember someone on 575 rank has just as much right to play someone on 800 as someone on 801 does.

All i'm saying is to make it a choice, not a restriction.
